She then said she was tied up and "he gagged me" - as the flashback continued I was hoping for a decent scene but after he took the sack off her head, he tore off the black tape gag before she had even turned her head for a good view. Sheyla Shehovich plays a prostitute called Maya who is wearing a black leather mini skirt. We first see her about 40 minutes into the first episode, where she is handgagged and put in a van. About 10-15 minutes later she is shown in a room with hands chained overhead and gagged with silver tape. She mmphs very nicely. In the last 15 minutes she tries to escape as the kidnapper removes her chains. She struggles with the villain whilst still tapegagged, and in her short skirt we get a bit of upskirt bonus. She is then knocked unconscious. In the last 5 minutes or so she is being dragged along still gagged, and then the tapegag is removed onscreen. Then the police arrive. Before being rescued, the bad guys return and spirit her off to another location. While in the car, we see she is now tape gagged as they drive away from the city. She is hooded and on horseback with her hands tied until they get to the compound, where the hood is removed and she is untied. I was pretty impressed and surprised at it. 1957 was right at the point the Hays Code was beginning to be ignored in Hollywood so that might be why we began to see more realistic and effective restraints at this time. Definitely a great scene. |

The tough-gal heroine (Gabriela Spanic), wearing a low-cut blue tank top and jeans, attempts to beat up the soap's villainess (Catherine Siachoque), but is subdued when a lamp is broken over her head. The unconscious Gaby is tied up in a loose hogtie and the villainess gags her onscreen with a piece of silver duct tape. When next we see her, Gaby is sitting on the ground of a shed with her arms tied over her head. The tape gag is removed shortly afterwards and the villainess beats the bound woman, clubbing her ribs with a rusty pipe. A few scenes of the semi-conscious Gaby still with her arms bound over her head follow. Later, we get a view of the unconscious Gaby in the backseat of a truck, her arms tied behind her back, her legs tied together and again gagged with silver duct tape. The villainess pays two men to carry the unconscious Gaby onto her boat and she speeds off with the bound woman for the soap's climactic scenes. When we cut back to her, Gaby is awake and the tape gag has been removed. The villainess prepares to shoot the bound woman, but is interrupted when a police boat carrying the soap's hero speeds toward her. A boat chase follows during which Gaby is able to cut the ropes binding her hands on the boat's anchor.
