Wednesday November 15 05:06:06 2023 The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Non Aprite Quella Porta - Fan Film |
So I went down a Youtube rabbit hole on fan film from the Texas Chainsaw franchise - given the main films have produced some cracking DID action over the years. Naturally most don't go bondage, but this one has two damsels tied AOH and cleave gagged - action starts around the 11:30 (the build up starts a couple of mins before). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSNtWzXuyMQ |

Would have been a top ten scene IMHO if it was a damsel instead, but I don't know of any similar scenes with a DiD. This comment is a very accurate and plausible answer to the question I posed in a previous comment. There usually isn't much specificity about how an actress should be bound and gagged in a script; as someone pointed out in a long-ago post, the plot is "not about the bondage". This gives the prop master a great deal of latitude about how the bondage should be implemented. Some of their efforts are risible, with a gag that looks like it's about to fall off the actress' mouth or a strip of duct tape that is so loosely applied that it looks like it could be blown off with an exhalation. Some try to achieve a high degree of verisimilitude and make the actress' gag as realistic as possible. I recall in an episode of Vega$ where a beautiful blonde nun had been kidnapped and was bound and gagged in the backseat of a car. When she was rescued, the protagonist removed her gag, a cloth that had been tied between her teeth. Immediately after this, she spat out a black cloth that had been stuffed in her mouth. The mouth packing was superfluous, an unnecessary detail; I was exultant that a beautiful blonde actress had been bound and gagged. I felt admiration for the prop man, however, for inserting this detail into the plot. He didn't have to include the mouth packing as part of her gag, but I appreciated his effort at enhancing the realism of the scene. I wonder how the actress playing the nun felt about being gagged with mouth packing and a cloth tied between her teeth for multiple takes? I'm sure that prop departments for crime dramas and thrillers are well-stocked with rope, duct tape, and cloths. |
