The bad guys demand that she write a letter that she does not want to write. She refuses. She is then tied up in the Cellar of the cabin (not shown until later) to hold her until she is ready to write the letter. At 21 minutes, Cisco finds her tied up in the Cellar (hands tied behind her back and feet tied, although no ropes are shown and no gag) and releases her. She is dressed in full Cowgirl getup. Ann, Cisco and Pancho are captured by the bad guys and end up sitting on the floor of a cabin with hands tied behind their backs and ankles tied at 15min. Cisco convinces their guard to untie his ankles and take off one of his boots, and Cisco uses the opportunity to kick him, which knocks him out (the bad guy displays some of the worst acting in history as he takes the dive). The prisoners then untie themselves and escape. |

When the bad guys show up, he opens the closet to show the pretty senorita bound and muzzled. There's one nice close-up of her gagged face. Interestingly, she resists Cisco's idea for duping the bad guys, but once he gags her, she goes completely limp and allows him to carry her unbound to the closet. There he ties her on screen to the chair with her wrists behind and a cord looping around her waist to tie her more firmly. The gag changes shape from a tight triangular style initially, to the traditional detective gag in the long shots of the closet action, to a thick white cloth covering the lower part of her face in the close-up. When Ms. Tyler rides to town to arrange for his funeral, two counterfeiters kidnap her. After forcing her off the horse, Thug #1 says, "Better gag her first" which prompts the cute brunette to bolt. Thug #1 then lassos her and says, "Get that gag on her" while Thug #2 applies the silencing triangle-shaped bandanna gag (over the cords of her hat) then wraps the rest of the lasso around her body. In the next shot, we see the two hombres lead Ms. Tyler into the desert, wrists tied in front with more ropes wrapped around her body. Late in the episode, Ms. Tyler leans out the ranch house window (hands apparently tied behind her back with ropes looped loosely around her body) and begs for Mrs. Mitchell (Louise Lorimer) to untie her. Mrs. Mitchell tells her not to worry, someone will be along -- in a couple of days, perhaps. At which point good ol' Gene pops around the corner and says, "Well, maybe a little sooner than that!) This episode is a rare example of an Autry production where the cute co-star gets the full treatment. The shots of Ms. Waldon's gagging include some nice close-ups, struggling and mmmphing. When she's tied up, she's wearing a jeans and a tight-fitting cowgirl shirt. Action starts about 15 minutes into the episode. As the gang leaves her room, she struggles half-heartedly to free herself. At the 20.40 mark, Cisco and Pancho enter her hotel room and unbind and ungag her on-screen. Susan is wearing a long cream colored dress with a tight waist - the better to emphasize her curves.
