Actually I did leave--"Away. Far away" genuinely meant overseas & doing more productive things than sitting around editing videos of bondage scenes, lol. But, all good things (or bad things, considering it was a semi-family emergency & semi-vacation at the same time) must come to an end & nowadays I'm back here, bored stupid again until the next nasty surprise awaits me at the other end of a long-distance phone call. So, might as well dust off the editing apps & churn something out during the downtime for kicks, right? Admittedly the thrill of editing is starting to wane seriously thin, has to be said. I dunno why it's taken so many years, but only now the realization is kicking in as to how goddamn BORING this stuff can be. Was this how Raffish felt when he retired? At least from the looks of it other more eager contributors have stepped up this year (props to Jackrabbit & Stractecular for doing a great job with their edits), so that's good. |
