| Totally agreed, DEXTOR! These damn "narco-novelas" (= drug dealer-novelas: El Capo, El Cartel, El Patron Del Mal, El Senor De Los Cielos, La Mariposa etc) have become increasingly popular with the (male) audience throughout the last years; they are full of violence and more often than not seem to glorify their protagonists! Originating in Colombia this genre unfortunately seems to be very successful in the US, too! I wish this would change! Let's return to the traditional style of the Latin telenovela (Pasion De Gavilanes, Pecados Ajenos, Te Voy A Ensenar A Querer, Dona Bella etc)! |
