| Compared to that headache-inducing project starring Reese, this one was a real breeze. Hey, that rhymes! The only real flaw here is an annoying vertical stripe on the left of the frame where the colors are black-and-white (especially visible when I'm zooming in on some shots). I couldn't do anything to fix this, as it's the result of the DVD's mediocre transfer of the VHS master tape. Still, it is the best source of the movie currently available and the color grading was surprisingly easy, considering the scene takes place during the night (the cinematography of this movie is impressive for its budget). | It was mentioned here that the 2006 soap opera Desire is available at tubi tv, which, unfortunately, is not available over here in Europe. This is from the episode description of "Last Man Standing": "In a warehouse Rita is blindfolded and bound to a chair. George and Victoria watch from afar. Rita starts to scream and George puts a hand over her mouth, telling her that this will be a lot more pleasant if she stays quiet." One source claims, this is episode 52 of 65, another, it is episode 63 of 80. Would be nice if someone could provide caps or a clip. |

| I watched the DiD scene with the Blu-ray commentary by Linnea Quigley and David DeCoteau and it has a couple of fun moments! They both make fun of every scene in the movie, including the scene. Quigley says that filming it was hard because she was trying her best to look upset, but DeCoteau would burst into laughter because he thought the scene was too silly and James Bond-like. When her character takes off the cleave gag, Quigley says "yay, I learned how to do it, like a trick dog"! I will definitely include it in my next batch of edits. |
