| So, so, so sorry that I'm still not done with Best Laid Plans. The edit and sound mix are done, but it's the color grading that's taking me so long. It's been the most frustrating project I've had since Criminal with Gal Gadot, due to the shadow levels fluctuating between shots (it's even worse than Criminal in some places, due to the film grain creeping in). The director is probably to blame; in the commentary, he said that the second part of the scene (the tape gag one) looks too dark because there were problems with the lighting and the film got overexposed or something like that. He didn't say anything interesting DiD-wise, by the way, just that he loved Reese's performance during those scenes. I promise I will finish it ASAP. After that, the other six ones should be a piece of cake! |
