Title: Moordvrouw Medium: TV Series Actress: Wendy van Dijk Description: Episode: "Ontheemd" (4.01), "IJdele Hoop" (4.02) In this Dutch crime series, brown-eyed blonde Fenna (van Dijk) spends literally an entire scene bound and almost all of it gagged, and very effectively so. Perhaps a classic for the ages. Plus, she happens to be an officer herself, albeit out of uniform here. At the end of episode 4.1 she wakes up sitting on a wheelchair, tied to it with lots of yellow rope (around her chest and waist), hands bound to the armrests and feet taped to the legrests, both with a large amount of duct tape. Her kidnapper then decides to keep her quiet by stuffing a wad of white cloth in her mouth, then ties a thick blue cloth over that as an OTM gag; all onscreen to much mmpphhing and protesting. The gag certainly does its job: all Fenna can do in episode 4.2 is make extremely muffled screams as she struggles energetically on the chair. Her attire is not particularly flattering (a grey cardigan over a navy blue top and matching slacks), but we do get some nice, continuous cleavage and even some frustrated boob-shaking. At one point, she is placed in front of a mirror while her captor delivers a monologue, forcing her to watch herself bound and gagged; quite an alluring sight, and a unique touch by the scriptwriter or director. Many times she is ungagged and re-gagged onscreen (including the mouth packing), in what becomes somewhat of a similar scene to that of Ingeborg Wieten in Goede tijden, slechte tijden (dB entry #8584). Later, a health worker visits the apartment. Obviously Fenna is hidden away, but her mmpphhing from an adjacent room nevertheless attracts his attention. Her captor then counters this by putting on some music and turning the volume right up. After the session is over, the health worker leaves but remains suspicious. Sensing her last hope of freedom slipping away, Fenna really gets to work. After a huge effort, she first manages to get one foot free of the tape, then uses it to open the door handle. With just one foot as an aid, she skillfully wheels herself through the kitchen and living room, and over to the balcony doors. Here she draws a curtain, and begins kicking at the window like her life depends on it. This is one truly determined damsel! However, to her horror, she sees her captor returning. Frantically, Fenna tries to wheel herself back into the original room but is caught in the act. Back in the darkened room, she spends some time ungagged (for once) as they have a long conversation. Towards the end of the sequence, the health worker returns and knocks at the front door. This is her cue to start screaming at the top of her lungs, which prompts a handgag and yet another onscreen re-gagging (same packing and OTM). When the health worker makes the mistake of letting himself in, he is viciously stabbed him to death in front of a terrified Fenna. Later still, a friend of hers enters the apartment armed with a gun. He puts paid to the psycho with a couple of non-lethal shots, then goes over to ungag and free Fenna. Still smarting from her ordeal, she swiftly grabs the gun and points it at her captor, now cowering in the corner. A few tense moments ensue, but she is eventually convinced not to finish him off. The episode fades out without Fenna being fully untied. She's next seen with her wrists bound to the arms of a chair (presumably, from the position of her arms, as there are no clear shots to confirm), cleavegagged with white cloth, and blindfolded with a black mask. Ex-cop Frank (Earl Holliman), leaving the building after visiting with her, hears the commotion and returns, but one of the perps conks him from behind before he can effect a rescue. The last shot is a closeup of her as the leader asks for "the code". She's next seen talking to a detective. The sequence lasts about 75 seconds, with a couple more closeups. Ms. Clunie wears a scoop-neck knit top under a white lab coat. There's no good shot of the rest of her clothing, at least during the sequence, so I can't say whether she's wearing pants or a skirt. A couple good closeups shown, including her hair dangling near the tape-gag, as the bad guy talks to her. Later, he leaves the car and opens the back seat and pushes her down lower in the seat and throws a blanket over her. Some more nice mmpppffing as she struggles. Later, after the good guy traps the villain in a shack, he busts the car window and we see a extreme closeup of Angela still gagged and mmmppffing as she's rescued. | Rough cut of this rare scene from a Chivalry VHS tape (see database for description). Low quality and extremely weak sound (French), couldn't do better. No DVD release apparently, and very hard to find VHS tape of the film. Clip can surely be downsized with better compression. No rape ("Viol" in French) in it. Back when we didn't get much advance notice of scenes other than a week-before promo, this one definitely ranked in my Top 10 of "yes" moments when they came back from commercial and I saw the thug in the car talking on the phone. Before you could even thorize "she's gotta be gagged, right" we get Brooke in that awesome tape-gag. Wanted to see her get a scene in Melrose Place but I think her character was killed off shortly before this show started. Too bad The Net didn't last. USA usually let these type of shows run for at least 2 or 3 seasons. The ratings must have been horrible. |

| Thanks so much, awesome having a high-quality version of this great scene. One of my absolute favorite DID scenes. A shame the show didn't last longer but at least it gave us this excellent scene during it's one season. There's a couple of other good DID scenes it produced during it's run, too. |
