The next shot shows her sitting the front seat of his convertible, tied (presumably, you don't see her hands) and cleave gagged with a white cloth. The gag remains on for about 30 seconds or so, great lighting & close-ups. Some struggling with the gag but no mmpphhh-ing. A few seconds later he unties her hands as they drive away to wedded bliss. Interestingly, this is Leila's second gag scene (the other being The Bishop Murder Case), and both were cleave gags, rare in ANY 30's movie, let alone two, and both with the same actress! |

The next sequence begins with a lovely close-up of Natalie being tightly cleave gagged onscreen with a thin white cloth; as the camera moves over, Alyssa is shown next to her and already cleave gagged with a much thicker white cloth. Both are tied to chairs with thin white rope; hands to armrests, feet together, rope over Alyssa's arms and chest, rope over Natalie's waist. Scene lasts a minute or so with some nice distressed mmpphhing by the two damsels, both looking at each other in a helplessly cute way. The villain then splashes gasoline on the floor around them, but as he fumbles with the lighter, Marci (Kelly Rowan) puts a stop to his plans as they fight it out. The sisters are left where they are, to be freed offscreen. Action occurs in the last ten minutes of the film. |

They are shown sitting back-to-back on a sofa, hands behind their backs (no visible bonds), feet tied together with thin rope, and each cleave gagged with a very thick cloth (white for Sandy, pink for Kirsty). After about a minute, Cordelia (Baxendale) bursts in and surprisingly kicks some ass. A male colleague quickly ungags Kirsty onscreen, but no untying of either is shown. Good close-ups and full-body views, however. Much earlier, at 8-9mins, Cordelia herself gets a tight handgag from a male associate who wants to talk to her; nothing much sinister in that scene. |

Later, at about the 48:25 mark, she is found tied (presumeably, bounds not seen) and tape gagged in a large canvas bag (you only see her head sticking out as she's ungagged, but we assume she's tied up as well). Near the end of the movie at around the 1:11:10 mark Laura Brunner is bound to a chair with tape & tape gagged. Scene lasts a fair while...at one point she's ungagged & regagged. At the very end of the movie, right before the end credits, at the 1:23:00 mark, an unknown (possibly Jewell Lehman, credited as "girl in vid-cam") is seen on a TV monitor with her arms outstretched & tied to the headboard of a bed & cleave gagged in a short scene before she's killed (the premise being the killer, who films his victims with a vid-cam before killing them, is still at large). |
