| Hi. Does anybody have a Blu Ray/HD version of the Dragnet movie 1987 or a link to download the movie in the highest res, please? I've seen several versions, one carrying an Encore HD logo (the best yet) but for the logo. My favourite moment is of the three bound and gagged greeters and it would be great to find this in the best possible quality, without the logo. Thanks so much in advance if you can help. |

| I have always wanted to see this scene but the movie seems impossible to find. Record number: 3610 Title: Six Gun Mesa (1950) Medium: Movie Actress: Gail Davis Description: At about the 44:45 minute mark of this Johnny Mack Brown Western, one of the last made by Monogram pictures. One of Carson's henchmen gets the drop on Dave Emmett, who he forces to tie pretty Lynne Gregory (Davis) to a chair and gag her over the hair with a wide white cloth. Her feet are not bound. We get to see about seven seconds of Lynne energetically struggling to free herself. The entire sequence takes about 25 seconds. At the 50:10 mark, we see Lynee pulled her hands free, leap from the chair and pull the gag from her mouth. As she scrambles out the door she throws away the cloth, the rope bindings still hanging from one wrist. This scene lasts a little under ten seconds. |

I'm wondering what happened. A French blog had stills but nothing more than that. And no actual captures of the DID scene. Most western archived movies sites don't have it. And I've only ever seen it included in a Walmart bundle of like 20 movies from the time. AMC owns the rights to the movie and have it acrhived on thier website but won't let you view it. Wondering if there's just something offensive about it that they can't just edit out. Treatment of Native Americans or just pro confederacy film. But it's not in lawsuit hell with companies not agreeing on rights to distribute. |
