| For anyone wondering exactly what the difference is between HDTV and Blu-ray, compare these caps: http://i.imgur.com/LhHMi.jpg http://i.imgur.com/J5OJ6.jpg http://i.imgur.com/nAoH1.jpg http://i.imgur.com/6ggPn.jpg The difference could be considered negligible, but anyone with a keen enough eye for these things can spot it easily. The colors are more vibrant on the Blu-ray edition, as well as the vastly enhanced detail in skin tone (I know, I know, it's nitpicking, but IMHO perfectionism is never a bad thing!) Also, there's the obvious lack of a TV logo which blights the HDTV versions. Anyway, enjoy! |

Even then, bitrate is not really a good indicator of picture quality. I've seen HDTV rips of 5Mb/s which have looked vastly inferior to a Blu-ray rip of 4MB/s. It all depends on the source material. |
