Record number: 12416 Title: Scooby Doo in Where's My Mummy (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Animated (Voiced by Christine Baranski, Unknown) Description: Straight to video (but subsequently released to TV) Scooby Doo film. Shaggy, Scooby and the gang are recruited by Amelia von Butch (think Lara Croft with a German accent) to assist in the search for Cleopatra's lost treasure. Someone or something doesn't want them to find it, though, and about an hour into the film (with commercials) von Butch is captured by the very corporeal ghost of Cleopatra. Her wrists are lashed behind her back in a fairly realistic fashion for a cartoon and we get several decent views of her plight. Von Butch (Baranski) is wearing a sleeveless black t-shirt and black cargo slacks. Fred and the gang manage to rescue her before Cleopatra's henchman cause Amelia to come to grief. But wait! Von Butch is not on the side of the angels and tries to steal the treasure all for herself. Five minutes from the end of the film, she flees the Sphinx with Cleopatra's crown in her hand when she springs a trap set by one of Fred's Arab friends and winds up tightly encased in a carpet with only her head protruding from one end. In the final scene of the film, we see fireworks exploding over the pyramids while von Butch dangles helplessly in her carpet bondage with her male and female henchmen shown bound back-to-back below her. |
