Record number: 6772 Title: Law & Order: Criminal Intent aka Law & Order: CI Medium: TV Series Actress: Marianne Hagan, Stephi Lineburg, Bailey Slattery Description: Episode: "Homo Homini Lupis" (1.14) A loan shark kidnaps an embezzling executive's family as collateral for a huge debt. The ladies are blindfolded, shackled, gagged with duct tape. One character is raped by their menacing captor -- off screen, mercifully. The scene, despite this shortcomming, is a multi-damsel scene (a rare kind of scene that is always welcome in my book) with a reasonable length with some decent close-ups especially those of the mother and the elder daughter. In addition, the mother told the police that she and her daughters were "tied up" in a bathroom at a rest area on the NY Thruway when they were found by her father-in-law. Too bad they did not show the rescue! While I personally could have done without the rape scene, I have to admit that such scene certainly added to the episode's drama and suspense. Moreover, that scene gave a very credible sense of urgency and determination to police's efforts to catch the bad guy and also contributed greatly to the victims' ultimate decision to assist the police. Hence, the rape scene made a major contribution to the plot of the episode. First scen occurs around the 12' mark and last scene ends by the 25' mark. |

| Title: Motel Hell (1980) Medium: Movie Actress: Elaine Joyce, Nina Axelrod Description: About midway through the film, Joyce's character and her boyfriend show up at the title location, mistaking it for a kinky swinger's joint. When the baddies who own it walk in on the couple bearing ropes and masks attached to gas cylinders, the couple invites them to tie them up and give them a shot of the gas. The lead baddie (Rory Calhoun) makes a spectacle of hogtying Joyce, then he and his partner render both her and her boyfriend unconscious with the gas. Near the movie's end, Axelrod falls into Calhoun's clutches, and is tied semiconscious to a conveyor in front of a meat slicer. Soon after the famous climactic chain-saw duel between Calhoun and Axelrod's boyfriend begins, the switch starting the machine is accidentally thrown, and the rest of the fight is intercut with scenes of Axelrod, now awake, screaming and struggling as she inches toward the slicer. |

She escapes, but is recaptured and tied back to back w/boyfriend. No gag. Heigl is a definite cutie! |

The father is dead, and the daughter (Yorks) and Son are bound in a small room, with their hands tied above their heads. The mother (Thomas) is tied separately in another room, with her hands above her head. She is barefoot. It is later revealed that she is dead. These scenes are short, there are no leg restraints or gags. |

| Episode: "Blood Bath 2" Based on a promo running on SciFi, the gag will be a female spa worker watching some guy who is supposedly a doll fetishist chloroform some woman. Later, the "victim" appears in a doll costume, tied up, and with a ball-gag in her mouth. It looks like a rubber ball in a nylon stocking or wrapped in a sheer scarf. Warning: This is a half-hour show and SciFi airs two episodes back-to-back. So, it'll be a solid hour of Scare Tactics, but I don't know if the new material will be at 9:00 PM or 9:30 PM. I tried to find out, but the SciFi site was no help. Also, I never watch the show 'cause even when Shannen Doherty was the host, it sucked, and at least in the ads the new host is *highly* annoying. |
