Record number: 193 Title: Copycat (1995) Medium: Movie Actress: Sigourney Weaver; Monique Carmona Description: Near the beginning of the movie Weaver is hung by a wire-cable noose over a toilet in a bathroom stall and struggles helplessly. She manages to stay alive, hanging by her neck, by holding the noose just loose enough. Later, she is bound standing atop a commode in a public restroom with her hands cuffed above her head, gagged with gaffers tape with a wire noose around her neck. It's rigged so that if she slips off the stall or lowers her hands, the wire noose strangles her. You can see it cut deeply into her neck in a couple of shots. Extensive scene as the psycho killer taunts her while bound. At around 50' you see the killer going down some stairs to a padlocked door. He unlocks the door, goes into the room, puts on a lab coat, picks up an exacto knife, and moves to a woman (Monique Carmona) in a pale nightdress with arms and legs restrained by padded cuffs. She has a plastic bag over her head with duct tape wrapped around the neck to keep it in place. The killer approaches the woman, cuts a small slit in the bag, then begins filling a hypo with window cleaner fluid. The movie then cuts over to a crime scene with the woman, now dead, lying face down on the ground wearing nothing but panties. |

Record number: 15855 Title: Flashpoint Medium: TV Series Actress: Rachel Skarsten Description: Episode: "Blue On Blue" (4.15) The episode opens with Rachel being lured over to see her ex-boyfriend, who actually is a criminal with a nasty grudge. He forces her to call her new boyfriend, who is a cop with the special unit where her brother is also assigned. As soon as the trap is sprung and the cop is being held at gunpoint, the ex says to his accomplice “She’s done, tie her up”. After the opening credits, Rachel, wearing white blouse and jeans, is tied to a chair with her hands behind her back. The cop is chained and handcuffed in front of a computer so that he can hack into the police evidence locker security system. The action shifts back and forth from the attempted break-in at the locker and the apartment where the pair are being held until 27 minutes into the episode (including commercials); when the bad guy catches Rachel and the cop talking and order the accomplice to “shut her trap”, which he accomplishes with duct tape. The action continues to shift back and forth with Rachel tied and gagged in the chair for a few minutes, but when the cop balks at providing any more help, Rachel is roughly pulled out of the chair and threatened. The cop backs down and agrees to continue helping, and Rachel is pushed to the floor. She spends most of the rest of the episode laying helpless and quiet on her side, and the police stop the break in and figure out where the couple is being held. At 55 minutes, the cops bust in, and the bad guy pulls Rachel to her feet to be used as a human shield. The scene lasts for a couple of minutes, with several good close ups as the cops finally rush the bad guy and rescue her. |
