Record number: 6268 Title: Dark Angel Medium: TV Series Actress: Jessica Alba aka Jessica Marie Alba Description: Episode: "Some Assembly Required" (2.7) Max Guevara (Alba) gets gagged - however brief the scene may be. 32 minutes in w/o commercials, Max is captured (you don't see the capture scene, although someone pricks her with a needle or something right before) and when we next see her, she is bound to metal autopsy table, a sheet over her body, you can see her struggling underneath it. When the bad guys pull off the sheet, you can see that she is strapped to the table with leather restraints (medical restraints, brown leather, ankles and wrists in leather cuffs and with wide leather straps over her waist and knees. She is gagged with a dirty looking grey cloth that is held in place with rubber medical tube tubing. The gag is removed very quickly (i.e. in less that 4 seconds), so don't blink ;) Standard bad guy gloating ensues for a while. Next (right after the scene changes), she is seen cuffed to some pipes, her arms over her head, locked in a little room. The good guy comes to rescue her, but has gone mental or something, so our hero talks for a bit and then leaves her still cuffed to the pipe. After the commercial break, she quickly breaks free, and there is a quick slow-mo close up of her breaking the handcuffs. The scene occurs in the last 20 or so minutes if you count the commercials. All in all, about 2 minutes of on screen time, 3 if you count the hero's flashbacks. She is dressed in black pants, a black jacket and black gloves. |

Record number: 68 Title: Gilligan's Island Medium: TV Series Actress: Dawn Wells, Tina Louise, Natalie Schafer Description: Episode: "How to Be a Hero" (1.24) Gilligan is depressed over his failure to rescue Mary Ann from drowning-- the Skipper saves them both. Later, Gilligan sees a headhunter on the island, but no one believes him. However, the other castaways decide to disguise the Skipper as a headhunter and allow him to "capture" them so that Gilligan can become a hero. Unfortunately, Gilligan overhears the plan. Meanwhile, the real headhunter captures Mary Ann, Ginger and the Professor. The Howells find the threesome tied hand and foot to stakes. Frond (!) gags cover their mouths, and despite mmpphing for all they're worth, they are unable to warn the millionaire and his wife that the headhunter is behind them. It's a brief scene, but it features a long shot of the three of them-- Mary Ann is wearing her trademark short shorts, and Ginger is wearing a form-fitting dress fashioned from some item from the Minnow ("S.S. MINNOW" is prominently displayed on the skirt) in the background. In a later scene, two more stakes have been added, and Gilligan discovers the five captives tied up. The Howells have not been gagged, but they are unable to convice Gilligan that this situation is anything other than a trick. The real headhunter returns, and Gilligan "plays along" in a mock fight scene. During the shenanigans, there is a close-up of Mary Ann, and several shots in which she is prominently featured, writhing at the stake. (Ginger remains only in long shots.) Finally, the Skipper (disguised as a headhunter) shows up, and Gilligan realizes the truth in time to send his foe into a handy campfire. After everyone has been untied, Mary Ann can be seen holding a loop of the rope. This is from the first season of black-and-white episodes, subsequently colorized, and begins around the fifteen-minute mark. |
