Record number: 271 Title: Single White Female (1992) Medium: Movie Actress: Bridget Fonda Description: At 1hr 24mins, Ms. Fonda is bound to a chair with translucent duct tape at the wrists, elbows, upper body, knees and ankles, and she is gagged a strip of tape (the outline of her lips can be seen through it nicely). She struggles a bit and mmpphhs in frustration as she tries to alert the neighbours. This first scene is fairly lengthy, lasting about 5mins. Later she is released so that she can use her laptop, but her ankles are still taped together; this is shown once. Finally, at 1hr 34mins, she has been taped up again, but is now lying on her back on the floor. Tape encircles her ankles, knees, arms, and pinning her wrists to her sides, and she is again gagged with a strip of tape. Much more mmpphhing in this second scene, which lasts a minute. |

Record number: 15599 Title: Rookie Blue Medium: TV Series Actress: Melanie Neige Scrofano; Missy Peregrym Description: Episode: "The One That Got Away" (2.7) At 8 minutes in, the cops respond to a call and start searching a house, only to find an unconscious Melanie wearing only a shirt, and laying on a staircase. Her hands are taped in front of her, and her mouth is sealed with duct tape. Missy peels the tape off of her mouth and summons help. At approx 47 minutes (broadcast time, including commercials) Andy McNally (Missy) is investigating the serial rapist by an illegal search of his storage locker at a Storage facility. She finds his rape kit including rope, duct tape and photographs of his victims bound and gagged. As she returns to find more things connecting the serial rapist, she gets rammed into the wall and passes out. When she wakes up, Andy finds herself bound and gagged hand and foot with duct tape. The rapist plans on killing her and he does not want her to see him so he asks her " to close her eyes" and when she refuses he blindfolds her with duct tape. We get treated to her flaring nostrils before her partner, the detective arrives and fights with the criminal. He overpowers him, reaches down to Andy's belt to take her handcuffs, and cuffs him. He finally frees Andy from her restraints. While the two slugs it out, we see a brief scene of Missy struggling with her bonds. Great closeups, lips pressed against the tape, waking up bound and gagged, decent KO scene to start. Missy is wearing her police uniform through the scene. |

Record number: 257 Title: Soleil rouge (1971) aka Red Sun aka Sol rojo aka Sole rosso Medium: Movie Actress: Ursula Andress ; Capucine Description: Just over an hour into the movie, she and a male companion ride off with Charles Bronson and company on horses, with their hands tied in front to the saddles and gagged with classic, white, over-the-hair detective gags -- a classic of genre, IMHO. Ms. Andress' black cowboy hat enhances the view. There are a couple of isolated shots of her with some good mmphing. About 15 minutes later, she's grabbed by Indians who tie her hands behind her and lace a water-soaked rawhide thong around her neck, which will shrink and strangle her if Bronson & Co. don't come out of hiding and rescue her in time. For completists, Capucine also gets a brief handgag at 54mins of the Blu-ray release. |
