Record number: 1614 Title: Simon Sez (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Natalia Cigliuti, Emma Sjöberg Description: In quite possibly the worst movie made in the 90's, Dennis Rodman (and he's not the worst of it) plays an Interpol agent who gets involved with a "friend" who's trying to return a kidnapee. Ms. Cigliuti is first "rescued" from the supposed kidnapper by Rodman and his irritating sidekick (said "friend"), and is shown in the back of their car unbound but gagged with a potato (baking, not Irish). The potato is held in her mouth by a black cloth. This scene comes in at around 35' in. At approximately the 50' mark, she is grabbed and hustled into a car by the true baddies. About 60' in she's shown gagged and restrained in a more traditional fashion -- tied to a chair and cleavegagged with an attractive yellow patterned scarf. She's next seen being rescued around the 75' mark. Also, in the early part of the movie, Dennis Rodman, while fighting Sjöberg's character in a restaurant, ties her up (literally wraps her up) with a white tablecloth. Her hands appear to be tied behind her back and part of the tablecloth acts as an over-the-mouth gag. There is some mmmphing. |

Record number: 2401 Title: Adventures of Superman (1952) Medium: TV Series Actress: Phyllis Coates Description: Episode: "The Mystery of the Broken Statues" (1.4) The bad guys grab Lois because she's found the key to a post office box hidden in a cheap statuette. It turns out that the box has a parcel containing a stolen gem in it. The TV LAND airings include three short scenes: 1) Lois, attired in a suit dress, led, bound and overgagged, down some steps to a waiting car 2) sitting in the back seat seen through the open window, and 3) being pulled from the car, then hustled into a plane to be transported to the crooks' mountain hideout Unfortunately, a scene has been cut just after the first scene above, in which a cop, seeing the baddies having car trouble, stops to ask if they need any assistance, oblivious to the fact that Lois lies hidden on the floor of the back seat. She'd been ordered to lie there as the patrol car approached, and was pulled up at the end. The sequence, without the axed scene, begins around the 16' mark, and lasts about three minutes. When the hero arrives, she is quickly gagged with a cloth held over her mouth by a tie which is wrapped over her mouth. She is hustled out of the disco and into a warehouse, where a super ninja is setting a trap. She is left roped to a railing to watch the fight as the bad guy takes off to gloat. Fairly lengthy scene, with several closeups. Occurs in the last third of the movie. |

Later, the smitten Kay is fooled into joining Powell at his apartment. When the cops bust the place, he ties her to a chair and leaves her to struggle to fool the cops into thinking she was a victim, not a guest. He still doesn't gag her though... |

Record number: 858 Title: Belle de Jour (1967) Medium: Movie Actress: Catherine Deneuve Description: She plays a bored wife who drifts into prostitution, and as a result of her guilt, is shown imagining herself being punished by her husband in her dreams. In the first such episode, at the beginning of the film, she is driven out into the country by her husband, then forced out of the car and marched toward the woods, while her hands are being tied and she's being wrap-gagged with a scarf. Her hands are tied over her head to a branch and the gag is pulled down, along with her blouse in back, and at her husband's behest, two men proceed to horsewhip her. In the second scene, she's shown standing with her wrists tied to a railing-one up, one down, like a statue-in a white dress, while her husband and another man throw mud on her and call her names. In the final scene, her husband and another man, each holding a pistol, stand back to back and start pacing away as if they are dueling, but when they stop, they turn toward the camera and fire. The camera then quickly pans around to show Deneuve standing tied to a tree, blood dripping from a head wound. |

They squirm around somewhat as a flashlight is shone in their eyes (great close-ups, albeit slightly shaky camerawork), and 2 faint mmpphhs can be heard from the laptop speakers. Likely to continue in the following episode. |
