The mother (Thomas) is tied separately in another room, with her hands above her head. She is barefoot. It is later revealed that she is dead. These scenes are short, there are no leg restraints or gags. |

Record number: 1745 Title: Eagle's Wing (1979) Medium: Movie Actress: Caroline Langrishe Description: Judith (played cute blonde British actress Langrishe) is kidnapped by an Indian (Sam Waterston (!)) and led through the desert with her hands tied behind her back during a large part of the movie. A gag would have worked miracles but the noose around her neck (she's attached to his horse) still gives it a special look and the ropes are really thick! There's a nice tie-up scene when he leaves her to oppose a trapper who's following him. This British-made western stars Martin Sheen, of all people. The scenes in the movie are somewhat marred by the director's curious inattention to detail for the bondage scenes, when he's obviously careful to be accurate in other aspects of the film. For example, in shot from a distance, Langrishe, supposedly bound, brings her hands from behind her back, realizes her gaff and puts them back in place so that in the next scene her wrist can be tied on-screen. Later, Langrishe tries to escape and sprints across the desert with her wrists bound behind her back. She stops, winded, and simply brings her hands from behind her back to hold her head in her hands - and no rope bindings are ever visible. Still, the last scene makes up for the gaffs - Pike (Sheen), determined to possess the white stallion currently being ridden by White Bull, arrives in the Indian's camp and confronts the Indian, his horse and Judith, who is seated with her wrists tied behind her. Indian and horse beat a hasty and retreat and Judith, sunburned and thirsty begs him, "Please... help me." Pike, forced to choose between the woman and the horse, sprints off in pursuit of the Indian. |

Medium: TV Series Actress: Christie Lynn Smith Description: Episode: "The Burning" (1.4) This is irrefutably one of the best damsel in distress scenes in recent television history. The damsel is wearing a snug camisole top and black brief panties, because she is doing her laundry and all her clothes are in the washer or dryer. She is overpowered by an escaped mental patient, who clamps his hand over her mouth to silence her; in the next scene in which she appears, she is bound and gagged in her camisole top and briefs. Her gag is a cloth tied tightly across her mouth. There are several inconsistencies with her gag. In one shot, it covers nearly one third of her face, and conceals her chin; in another scene, it covers only her lips, and leaves her chin visible. She is bound and gagged for a prolonged period of time. The escaped mental patient leaves her bound and gagged, and the actual villain discovers her. There is a brief scene where he removes her gag, and then reties it between her teeth, so it becomes a cleave gag. All the while, she is wearing the camisole top and briefs. She is rescued by the heroes, that clandestine government agency. The female lead, Carla Gugino, removes her gag. barefoot throughout her entire scene |
