They attack her assistant, Jason, and then go for Beth. Beth calls them names and grabs a letter opener. She stabs one of the men in the shoulder and the other in the leg but they still get the upper hand and beat her up. They tie Beth to a chair and aim a gun at Jason’s head. He shoots and kills Jason. Beth curses him out. His partner, the one Beth stabbed in the shoulder, is fading. Beth expressed her hope that he bleeds out. The other man says he was told she had a mouth on her and that he should shut it or fill it. Beth responds caustically and he pistol whips her . Beth continues to insult him so he takes a different tack. He holds his gun under her chin and threatens her again. Rip, who somehow discovered what’s going on, enters right at that moment. Hooker aka TJ Hooker Medium: TV Series Actress: Kim Miyori, Heather Locklear Description: Episode: "Blood Sport" (5.16) The two are captured by Yakuza gangsters and wrestled into a car at 29mins, then shown at 35mins, tied to chairs (hands behind backs, no bonds visible) and each cleave gagged with a white cloth. Excellent close-ups in a scene lasting under a minute, but no emoting or struggling. They are later released unbound. Ms. Miyori wears a black kimono; Ms. Locklear an orange floral-print sarong-like skirt with a matching halter top. This originally aired as Blood Sport (1986), a spinoff film from the series, but was split into two episodes in syndication. When aired in two parts, the scenes occur in the second half. In the German broadcast combining both episodes, the capture sequence occurs at 1hr 14mins and the actual scene at 1hr 19-20mins. There's a nice handgag by Lucas McCain when he tries to keep Enid from blowing his cover. She is later found bound and gagged in a chair. A single shot but a fairly long one. She is detective gagged with a bandana, with a folded up hanky between her teeth. Later in the episode, she's captured and beaten (off screen) by the bad guys.
