Record number: 14 Title: Jamaica Inn (1939) Medium: Movie Actress: Maureen O'Hara Description: Bound, wrists behind the back, and cleave gagged onscreen with silk handkerchiefs near the end of the movie, starting from 1hr 27mins of the 2015 Blu-ray release. Many, many close-ups (including a great one while she is being gagged) in this long, classic scene. Maureen submits quietly to having her hands tied by the villain, who then ties the thin strip of cloth very tightly between her teeth, all the while explaining why she has to be tied, and how sorry he is to be doing it. He leads her out to his carraige and drives off to a ship, so that they can escape the country. He takes her to a cabin, where he removes the gag, but leaves her hands tied. | Title: The Big Valley Medium: TV Series Actress: Linda Evans, Jeanne Cooper Description: Episode: "Tunnel of Gold" (1.29) The lovely blonde ladies are captured by thieves who are tunneling into a Wells Fargo office full of gold that's ready for shipment. At 32mins, Evans gets a lengthy handgag as she tries to yell for her brother. Both she and Cooper are then dragged down into the basement, Evans remaining handgagged all the way. When next shown, at 34mins, they are sitting down and bound back-to-back to a wooden support beam, hands behind their backs (no visible bonds), rope encircling their upper bodies (above and below breasts), feet tied with rope, and somewhat loosely cleave gagged with blue bandannas (which keep switching between shots to half-cleave/half-OTM). The damsels don't mmpphh very much, and soon stop struggling. Eventually they pass out, due to the bad guys' tunneling having caused gas to fill the basement where they are bound. Very much the damsels in peril, they will die from asyphyxia unless they are rescued. They remain like this until they are discovered by the resident good guys at 46mins. Their untying is not shown, but Evans is ungagged onscreen (in this shot both gags are now OTMs). The scene is lengthy, with both damsels receiving altogether about 3mins of screen time bound and gagged. Close-ups and full-body views aplenty. Evans wears a long red dress and black boots. Cooper wears a grey blouse, long grey skirt and black boots. |

Her hands are also tied in front, and she is cleave gagged with a white cloth. Unhappy end for her. At the very end of the episode, Emily (Baldoni) is in the same predicament except her hands are tied behind her back, and the culprit is revealed to be resident psycho girl Sabrina (Aimee-Lynn Chadwick). Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and Isles (Sasha Alexander) arrive to rescue Emily just in time. Both scenes take place at night, so the lighting is very dark as would be expected. Note: If trying to record this episode with a timer, be sure to add a few minutes at either end of the episode, as the first scene starts literally within 2 seconds of the beginning, and the last scene is in the last 3 minutes of the episode. Nothing at all in between. |
