The brunette French agent is kidnapped by the serial killer: we see her several times in the trunk of a car, hands behind (bound with black rope) and cleave gagged with a belt, and around it, a white cloth is wrapped. When the serial killer arrives at an apartment-hideout the girl is chloroformed on a bed. Long scene with close ups, but a few dark. Good, in my opinion. |

Record number: 15763 Title: Doctor Who (1963) Medium: TV Series Actress: Nicola Bryant, Geraldine Alexander Description: Episode: Vengeance on Varos About 10 minutes into Part 2 the Doctor, Peri (Bryant), rebel Jondar and his compatriot Areta (Alexander) are gathered for sentencing by enemy guards. Their hands are tied behind their backs as the villains explain their fate, though this is only seen in glimpses focusing mainly on the male characters. As Peri and Areta struggle while guards take them to be subjects of a cell mutation device, Areta's bound hands are briefly visible. Peri's bonds aren't seen however and it almost appears as if a guard is holding her arms together behind her back. Several shots of the two damsels restrained to tables with what appear to be car seat-belt straps occur between the 15-23 minute marks. Peri's body is held down by a strap just below her breasts while Areta is restrained at the waist. In both cases the straps holding them down are looped around through slots in the table to hold their wrists in place. The restraints appear to be easily removable, the wrist straps in particular. Their legs are covered with shiny plastic sheets. At first both women are awake and struggle as the cell mutator begins to transform them into human/animal hybrids. They become increasingly more immobile as the process continues, finally becoming unconscious by the time the Doctor and Jondar arrive. The Doctor stops the mutation process in the nick of time before he and Jondar free the two females. Areta wears a baggy jumpsuit. Peri wears a form fitting long-sleeve light blue scoop neck top with matching baggy shorts. An action figure of Peri in this outfit packaged with one of this episode's villains (Sil) was put out in 2010. |
