Record number: 16441 Title: Homeland Medium: TV Series Actress: Claire Danes Description: Episode: "Broken Hearts" (2.10) Carrie finishes her conversation with Brody and enters her car. She is still conversational with Brody until her car is sideswiped by a vehicle driven by Nazir at the 10:05 mark. Brody is at the hotel with his family and receives phone message with a bound, gagged, and bloodied image of Carrie at the 10:30 mark. At the 14:30 minute mark, a picture of Carrie is shown on Brody's phone. She is then shown while Brody and Nazir have a conversation about the codes for a weapon in the president's office. She is shown bound and gagged from the 15:06, 15:10, 15:35-15:44, 15:55 to the 16:17 mark of the scene. At the 17:25 minute mark, Carrie begins to duck walk while gagged to get her legs to sweep a hack saw blade towards her to free herself and gets busted at the 18:33 mark. Nazir pushes her onto her back and zip ties her ankles at the 18:50 mark. At the 25:23 mark, we are treated to a closeup of Carrie's gagged and bloodied face. At the 25:53 mark, Carrie's gag is removed. At the 25:54 minute mark and 30:17 minute marks, Carrie is having a conversation with the terrorist, while still bound hands over head and ankles zip tied. At the 35:00 mark, Carrie is shown on Brody's phone, at this point she is re-gagged during Nazir's conversation with Brody. Brody tells Nazir that he will not give him the code until Carrie's released. He swears on Nazir's dead son that he will give him the code once Carrie's released. Hearing that he pulls out a knife and cuts her wrist ties and ankle ties and tells to run, which she does. She tells Saul Berenson and the CIA worker that she was held hostage by Nazir and they tell to stay where she is and they'll come get her and not to go after Nazir by herself. She ignores them and returns to place where he had her tied up and held hostage. Looking for him. Overall, the scene was outstanding. The scene was also very extensive. Claire Danes is finally bound and gagged in TV or the movies. Making this a tremendous scene, except for the bloody face. I could live with that because it is Claire Danes. She was wearing a Navy blue or black business suit, Black or blue blouse and black short boots. |

Record number: 11837 Title: The Big White (2005) Medium: Movie Actress: Holly Hunter Description: I can't say when these scenes occur in the film or how widely they are spaced, since this summary is based on a compilation DVD, but this is an unexpectedly cool find. (And it may even be a good movie in its own right, based on the comparisons I'm seeing to "Fargo," which did indeed spring to mind when I first saw the clip.) Wearing pajamas, Margaret (Hunter) gets captured at gunpoint, and is next seen tied to a chair with bungee cords and duct tape. Then, she's been gagged with duct tape, then cleave-gagged with a white cloth, then ungagged, then regagged (and handgagged) onscreen. Next, she's on a bed with her ankles and knees tied together with duct tape. Similarly for her elbows, wrists, and hands, which are all taped in front. She manages to grab a phone with her feet, work the gag off, and dial the phone with the aid of a digital thermometer which she holds in her mouth. Finally, she's reunited with her husband (Robin Williams), after a couple shots of her cleave-gagged again (though apparently unbound) in the back of a car. My edited clip is a solid two minutes long, which isn't bad. |

Record number: 15356 Title: Red (2010) Medium: Movie Actress: Mary-Louise Parker Description: The first scene has Parker sitting in the backseat of a car with a large strip of duct tape over mouth. Her wrists are duct-taped in front. She makes a lot of muffled speech during this scene. The next scene has Parker sitting on a bed, arms spreadeagled and tied to the headboard with her legs tied together in front, and another large piece of duct tape over mouth. The tape gag is applied on-screen, and she actually tries to dodge the gag when her kidnapper first tries to put it on. Not as much muffled speech this time around. Same scene trying and succeeding to get her hands free. With her legs still bound, she hops off the bed, her breasts bouncing nicely, and you get a quick view under her very short skirt, plus she's wearing tights. She also wears knee-high black boots, and prior to the first scene, she had stripped a little, taking off a coat and another shirt. Not long after the second scene, she's injected with a knockout drug. All of this happens within the first 30 minutes of the movie (assuming you view it without commercials, either on the original theatrical release or on DVD). |
