Record number: 987 Title: Rio Bravo (1959) Medium: Movie Actress: Estelita Rodriguez Description: This western stars John Wayne as the sheriff in a small town. He's friends with a local Spanish couple that runs the hotel. At one part the bad guys try to get him while he's in the hotel and the girl, Consuela is tied up and gagged in the other room. She is bound to a chair and cleave-gagged with a yellow cloth. There is only one pretty good close-up and her husband gets B&G too, so try to ignore him. Unfortunately, his gagging happens on screen, and hers does not. Ms. Rodriguez is very cute, however. A good, but brief scene. It starts about 3/4 through the movie. (About 30 to 40 minutes from the end with adverts). The actress is also shown a few minutes later being ungagged and forced to scream as part of the plot to capture the good guys. Again, pretty brief. There are a couple of real quick scenes later showing her from the side or back - blink and you miss them. A real crime that heroine Angie Dickenson didn't get a scene here as she is at the peak of her considerable attractiveness. PS-This movie kicks ass, especially if you like westerns! |

First up, approx 31 minutes into the broadcast version of the episode, is “slutty schoolgirl” Jessica, who is chlorophormed in front of the house, and carried off through a group of trick-or-treaters and their mothers. At 39 minutes slutty Red Riding Hood Shelley gets a quick chlorophorm scene; followed a moment later by Britt in her slutty bumble bee costume. When we next see them at 46 minutes into the ep, all three, plus Phoebe and the male member of the group are sitting tied to chairs in a circle, hands behind their backs, and their backs to the circle. They are no longer wearing their slutty/cute outfits, as the entire circle is now wearing witches’ robes (like old monk’s outfits, only being worn by witches). The assassin tries to use magic to kill them, but a scream from Britt breaks the bottle necessary to do the deed. Instead of gagging Britt to keep her from interfering, he just smiles knowingly, picks up another bottle and tries again. Another scream from Britt sends him to a fiery grave, and the guy in the group manages to escape from his bonds and untie the girls. |

He holds her standing with her hands behind as the lead baddie Alex (Malcolm McDowell) proceeds to gag her with a red ball and transparent adhesive tape, then cuts off her red pantsuit (starting at her breasts), all the while belting out a rendition of "Singing in the Rain" Apparently, the actress spent much more time gagged than what is seen in the movie, because Kubrick filmed this scene several times and wasn't happy with it each time - until he told McDowell to just "do anything he wanted". McDowell decided to belt out "Singing in the Rain" and Kubrick was so pleased with how much better the scene became that he acquired the rights to use the song immediately. The scene occurs in the first 30 minutes. Also of interest is a pop art painting of a woman who appears to be bound and gagged, seen during a second home invasion about 25' later. It's never shown in closeup, though. |

Scenes, (not close) at 1 hour 20 minutes, 1 hour 35 minutes, 1 hour 48 minutes (with a closer shot of her face) then she is unfortunately shot. Times for a 1 hour 52 minute broadcast on UK BBC with no adverts. Scene is pretty similar to the Charlie's Angels "Marathon Angels" episode. |

She is then nicely bound with ropes (but not gagged) on a couch while the old spy gloats. Much later in the episode, Ms. Wagner and the old spy are working together when they are caught at gunpoint in a closet. We later see the bad guys carrying Ms. Wagner, who is bound, hands in front, and gagged. She is then placed into a trunk. No sooner is the trunk closed than she snaps her ropes and bursts through the trunk to send the bad guys flying across the room. |
