Record number: 2691 Title: Perry Mason: The Case Of The Telltale Talk Show Host (1993) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Alex Datcher Description: Ms. Datcher plays a cop who gets nabbed by the bad guy while posing undercover as a prostitute. She's bound wrists-behind-back and gagged on-screen with silver duct tape and left in a basement. Later on her streetwalker friend comes downstairs, wakes her up and quickly takes the gag off. Neither scene is very long at all, and the lighting isn't great (the bad guy shuts off the light when he goes upstairs), but she is gagged on-screen and lets out a nice 'mmmmmmpph' as her mouth is taped. Also both scenes with her have decent but quick closeups. A great example of quality over quantity in terms of a DID scene. Incidentally, this TV movie was Raymond Burr's last performance as Perry Mason. Action begins around the 65' mark and ends about 90' in. |

Record number: 2955 Title: Adventures of Superman (1952) Medium: TV Series Actress: Noel Neill Description: Episode: "Clark Kent, Outlaw" (3.08) Clark concocts a scheme to infiltrate a gang of jewel thieves by allowing himself to be fired and publicly humilated from The Planet. The thieves are happy to recruit him, once they discover his knack for cracking safes. Lois and Jimmy follow him on a caper to try and turn him away from a life of crime and get captured. Clark convinces the crooks to drag them back to The Planet building, where the two reporters can be killed in a fiery accident, and the building torched at the same time. Lois and Jimmy are loosely bound back to back to chairs with twine (which encircles their bodies, but their hands aren't tied, leaving Lois able to maintain a tenacious grip on the strap of her purse with her white-gloved fingers) and loosely detective gagged with handkerchiefs while Clark sets the fire in a chair in Perry White's office. The camera shoots the pair from in front of Lois, which effectively diminishes Jimmy's presence, and enhances Lois' brief struggles as her captors escape. Good news for the good guys: it turns out that the chair is fireproof and Clark secretly triggered the fire alarm as he and the crook fled the building. This was the first of the show's episodes shot in color to contain a scene. |
