Record number: 3463 Title: The Untouchables (1959) Medium: TV Series Actress: Madlyn Rhue Description: Episode: "The Tommy Karpeles Story" (2.11) Tied with her wrists apart to the chair arms and (as seen in only one brief, long full shot) her ankles were also tied. She was gagged with a long piece of white tape that nearly went from ear-to-ear. There were a couple of nice face close-ups. When her father (gangster Tommy Karpeles of the episode title) enters and demands the kidnappers untie her, she tries to motion with her eyes that there's a gunman behind him, and as soon as her hands are freed she pulls the tape off her face and yells out a warning -- too late. Ms. Rhue was wearing a form-fitting suit jacket with matching skirt and black heels. |
