A Japanese entomologist misses the last bus back to town and finds shelter with a woman in the bottom of a sand dune. This next morning he realizes he is trapped and can never leave. At first he refuses to work (the woman is part of a slave labor gang), and at 45mins he suddenly decides to restrain her. First he forcefully stuffs a piece of cloth in her mouth, then reinforces it with a large white towel OTM gag. As she struggles, he ties her hands behind her back with a piece of white cloth and ties her bare feet together with a black cloth, all onscreen. Later, he mutters to himself and sits sullenly on the ground whilst watching the woman. She is lying quietly on a mattress on the floor, still tied and gagged (great close-up of her gagged face), until he ungags her onscreen at 49mins. They continue to have a length conversation until he unties her completely at 56mins. |

Martha (Kendrick) is kidnapped by a gang of thugs. She is shown in many sequences sitting on an office chair with her hands duct-taped to the armrests, feet unbound, and gagged with a wide strip. The gag is wide as in ear-to-ear, but the tape strip itself is actually narrower than normal duct tape; it is also very loosely applied, allowing her to laugh through it when the bumbling crooks argue in front of her. As a special bonus, when her sweetie is about to release her, it goes like this: DAMSEL: What are you waiting for? SWEETIE: Gosh, you're cute. DAMSEL (with classic "Buffy" head-shake): You just like me tied up. You. Pervert. SWEETIE: It's true. DAMSEL: I see it now. SWEETIE: It's true. DAMSEL: N'yeah. Give it here, give it here. (She's referring to his clown nose. It's a long story. He bends down and she takes the clown nose in her mouth.) DAMSEL (through her replacement gag): All right. I'm fine now. SWEETIE: You like that? DAMSEL: I'm fine now. Occurs at 1hr 5-17mins of the iTunes release without commercials. |
