Record number: 12089 Title: Banshee (2006) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Taryn Manning, Unknown Description: She's the lead character, a professional car thief whose boss takes umbrage when she steals back a prized acquisition in a vain attempt to ransom a loved one. About midway through (at about an hour and ten minutes into the two-hour edit with commercials) she ends up dangling from the ceiling by a rope binding her arms to her torso while the boss and his henchmen debate the best way to do her in. Then, in a manner reminiscent of Stefanie Powers' escape from a similar predicament in her first "Girl from U.N.C.L.E." scene, she manages to swing over to a catwalk along the wall, where she secures a foothold and wriggles out of her bonds, leaving her free to waylay the boss when he returns to the room. She's ungagged. Near the end of the movie, she rescues a friend who's been captured by the psycho killer. She's locked in a large, human-sized packing crate which is standing on end. Inside the box, her friend's head is secured in a vertical stock, so that her head looks decapitated at first, but when the frame of the stock is removed, we see her head is still attached to her neck, though she is kinda beat up. No other bondage for her friend. |

Record number: 3508 Title: The Rifleman Medium: TV Series Actress: Enid James Description: Episode: "The Wyoming Story, Part Two" (3.21) After an epidemic of hoof-and-mouth disease wipes out his cattle herd, Lucas agrees to take on the job as a government secret agent to infiltrate a gang who is selling rifles to the Indians. There's a nice handgag by Lucas McCain when he tries to keep Enid from blowing his cover. She is later found bound and gagged in a chair. A single shot but a fairly long one. She is detective gagged with a bandana, with a folded up hanky between her teeth. Later in the episode, she's captured and beaten (off screen) by the bad guys. Still later, the brains heavy opens a closet door and shows Enid tied to a chair, badly beaten. She's not gagged in this scene. |

Record number: 12490 Title: Bat Masterson Medium: TV Series Actress: Jacqueline Scott Description: Episode: "The Black Pearls" (1.34) Bat has joined an outlaw gang in an attempt to recover a valuable black pearl necklace they stole in a train robbery. Carol Otis, the sister of the gang leader Polk Otis (played by James Coburn), tries to convince her brother to turn from his life of crime, but is abducted by Polk's gang members. Seems the henchman don't believe that Polk will return with their share of the cut once the Polk fences the pearls unless they have some leverage. Anyway, Carol is tied on-screen to a horse's pommel by a rope looped around her waist. (Her wrists, curiously, aren't tied). The renegade thugs threaten to drag her over the rocky ground if Polk doesn't agree to their demands. Enraged, Polk goes gunning for his henchman, and the resulting gunplay spooks the horse, pulling the pretty brunette behind it. Bat rescues the lady before she comes to grief, natch. |
