Record number: 13620 Title: 88 Minutes (2007) Medium: Movie Actress: Alicia Witt, Deborah Kara Unger Description: In this good suspense thriller about a college professor played by Al Pacino, nothing less) who, while moonlighting as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI, receives a death threat telling him that he has only 88 minutes to live. When the time (and the movie) is almost up, he's cited to meet at a university building by his assistant Kim Cummings, played by Alicia Witt. There, he finds Kim very well tied to a chair and gagged with a white/beige spongy material worn between her lips, almost like a bit gag. There was also drool evident on the top and lower part of the gag. I think never seen on mainstream films. She spends a lot of time lke this, while Pacino talks with the serial killer that put her in this situation, and Dean Carol Johnson (Deborah Kara Unger) hangs from the ceiling, tied but not gagged, as the killer intends to make her the next victim.scene begins right at the 1:30:00 mark I recommend this movie both for its quality as for this bondage scene. |

| Title: High Crimes (2002) Medium: Movie Actress: Ashley Judd, Amanda Peet Description: Around the 50' mark (with ads), there's a brief shot of Amanda Peet tapegagged during a home invasion. Scene lasts only a few seconds. I couldn't tell how she was tied (the intruder may have been disturbed before he had time to secure her). About nine minutes from the end, the real killer ( I won't give away the twist) grabs Ashley Judd, firmly clamps his hand over her mouth, and drags her into the house. He then ties her arms behind her back and hogties her. The hogtie is not tight (her knees not bent much), more incidental as the same length of (telephone?) cord used to tie her wrists behind is also used for her ankles. She is able to roll off the couch where she was tied and across the floor towards a gun that was dropped during the final fight. She manages to work her hands free just in time to get the gun and save herself. The scene is dark and the cuts are quick. She's wearing a bathrobe and white socks. |

| Title: The Marine (2006) Medium: Movie Actress: Kelly Carlson Description: WWE wrestler John Cena flexes his muscles as marine John Triton who is on a mission to save his kidnapped wife Kate (Calrson) from a psycho jewel theif (Robert Patrick). Half way through the movie for a good while Kate is tied up hands in front with rope and lead through a woods by Patrick and his accomplices. Towards the end of the movie Kate is handcuffed with her hands overhead to a pole in the back of a truck. Several scenes of here desperately trying to escape from the handcuffs as the truck piles through a shack and lands in water and is slowly sinking before muscleman hubby takes out the baddies and comes to the rescue just in the nick of time. |

| Title: Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: Rene Russo, Darlene Love, Traci Wolfe, Ebonie Smith Description: Roughly 40mins into the film, an Asian gang ties a large family up including Russo with duct tape. Hands behind backs and ankles together on the floor. Then they proceed to set the house on fire. very short scene. No gags. Guy alert. There is an additional scene of sorts on the DVD of this movie. In the "B-Roll Footage" section of videotaped outtakes from the production of the film, Russo is shown sitting in a chair, laughing and giggling, while Gibson binds her to it with yellow police-line tape. When he's done, he playfully offers to sell kisses from her for ten dollars each as she sits wrapped head to toe in the tape. The scene is about four minutes into the segment. |

At some point (haven't seen this scene myself), young Ms. Winbush (as "Camille", imaginative, that) is captured, bound and gagged with duct tape, before she's also saved by Himself. Her hands are tightly tied and her feet are also tied tight. Black electrical tape-gag goes ear to ear. |

| Title: The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou (2004) Medium: Movie Actress: Cate Blanchett Description: An unexpecting and delightful Cate Blanchett playing Jane a reporter aboard the "Belafonte", Zissou's boat. She is seen half way into the movie in a hogtie with ropes binding her wrist behind her back and her ankles. She is lying on her belly in a classic hogtie. She is tied as such by Philippino sea pirates who attack the boat. She is seen later on blindfolded on her knees. Her arms are seemingly tied behind her back but we never get to see her wrists. Many of the other members of the crew are similarly tied and blindfolded by the bandits. However the movie has a comedy tone and therefore no sense of real danger is intended. Captain Zissou cuts himself loose and saves the day. Wearing a blue dressing gown/bath robe, good struggling but short scene and on a bunk seen from a low angle so not a full view. Between 56 to 60 minutes without adverts. |

She lies nude on her back, tied spreadeagled to tent pegs driven into the ground. Her panties are wrapped around her neck, secured by a thin rope. About an hour later, she's shown in a flashback scene being stripped and tied to the ground in a similar fashion, as an acquaintance relates the story of her having been gang-raped during an exercise when she was a West Point cadet. About fifteen minutes after that, the events leading up to the murder are shown in another flashback sequence in which she's shown tied down nude again, but still alive. She is not gagged in any of the scenes. |

At about 18 minutes into the film, she's shown being led through an underground steam tunnel by the masked killer, gagged with duct tape and her wrists in a pair of early-1900s style handcuffs. In a sequence that begins about ten minutes later and continues for about ten minutes more, she's shown several times with her hands cuffed over her head and her ankles roped together, sitting in front of a large steam pipe the killer has opened and swung around towards her, making obvious the fate that awaits her if the police don't decipher the cryptic clues to her whereabouts he's given them in time. |

Cast includes a number of ex-super heroes & heroines including ex-Superman Dean Cain and damsels Judith Hoag (April O'Neil) and Stacy Haiduk (Lana Lang) - who play the wives of two executives kidnapped to blackmail their husbands (who are on board the plane). Both ladies are now in their late 30's but still looking good. Action starts around the 36 min mark - Judith is pulled from her car in the driveway of her house and shoved into the back of a van. She is wearing dark Jeans, green T-shirt & cardigan and black low heeled ankle boots. No bondage Around the 47min mark, Stacy is attacked in her home by a kidnapper - some struggling and wrestling (no bondage). Stacy is wearing a dark blue tracksuit and white flat heeled casual shoes (like trainers). Around the 1hr00min mark, Close ups of Judith laying on her back on the matress, she hears gag noises and squirms across the floor to a small grate - from where she sees Stacy crying into her gag in the next room. Some close ups of Stacy's face but partially osbscured as these are viewed through the vent from Judith's perspective. Judith then squirms over to a sharp edge on a wall on works off the wrist bonds, ungags herself and unwraps her ankles on-screen. Around the 1hr06min mark, Judith picks the lock on her door with a coat hanger and opens the door of Stacy's room - a brief wide angle shot of Stacy on the floor looking upwards - the only unobscured shot of Stacy getting the full treatment. Aound the 1hr18min mark the ladies make their way downstairs to escape but are discovered Around the 1hr27min mark both ladies are now bound and seated together on a downstairs sofa - hands behind and ankles together with duct tape - but no gags and no shots of their bonds. Around the 1hr30min mark, there are two later shots of them but still no view of their bonds. Done through webcam. Around the 1hr33min mark, the captors leave the room and there are several wider angle shots which show their bound ankles. Stacy begins to work on freeing Judith's wrists Shortly thereafter the ladies are next seen running through the woods in a second escape attempt - but are quickly caught Around the 2hr10min mark, the FBI storm the house and free the damsels - only a brief shot of Judith looking around when she hears the commotion - again laying on her back on the matress in the upstairs bedroom B&G with duct tape as before. No more shots of Stacy B&G. Editor Note: The following was not shown in the US airing.Around the 40 min mark the van pulls up at a remote location and Judith emerges from the van - she is now bound hands behind and gagged - both with silver duct tape. She is led into the house and her captor is instructed to "take her upstairs and wrap her tight". She is then thrown onto her back on a matress on the floor of an upstairs bedroom and her ankles are bound with duct tape on screen while she struggles. Good close ups of her gagged face. |
