(They're actually angels sent to earth to bring her and her lover [Ewan McGregor] together, see the movie). She's handgagged briefly during the grab. She is next seen bound to a chair with pretty orange rope, her mouth sealed with nicely-applied duct tape (Prop persons: It can be done), a white cloth blindfold pushed up above her eyes. She mmmmphs and talks through the gag as she plays blackjack (and keeps winning) with the male angel. Later he pulls the blindfold down, and though she's ungagged a little further on, she remains sightless. She ends up bound, blindfolded, but ungagged in the trunk of a car, where she's discovered and released with about ten minutes left in the film. Earlier, about 20' in, she's shown being tied to a chair with a strip of cloth about her midriff, right after McGregor has abducted her (partly with her help, see the movie) and driven her to a remote cabin. She's bound to the chair at the arms and legs with more cloth. Around the 62' mark, there's a scene where McGregor, Diaz and the angels/bounty hunters meet for a ransom exchange. He ties her hands in front, and she remains bound for a few minutes. |

Right near the end the bad guys - or at least one lot of bad guys, there are a couple of groups - grab Walter's wife Donna (Hunnicutt). She's the "target" to lure father and son to their doom. The scene that follows is one of the better bondage episodes in movies. Gayle (well-clothed and wearing high heels) is tightly strapped into a seat high up on a platform in a warehouse. She's wired all over with connections to a bomb. She has hankerchief stuffed in her mouth and held in place by a narrow cloth. A bomb is wired up to the chair and a lengthy scene follows, cutting back and forth to various shots of the victim, as the battle rages and as they try to remove the wires from Gayle. She's even still gagged and has her hands tied behind as they hustle her off to safety. |

Later she's untied solely so that, in a nasty scene involving hot fat, she can be tortured to force her partner to reveal information to the baddies. Neither cracks, so she's killed, unfortunately. Male interference and the torture bit is not pleasant. |

She's the daughter of someone who has access to MI5's bank. She's later seen in a darkly lit room, standing with hands tied overhead (with rope now), still gagged with tape. This scene lasts about a minute, with some nice close-ups as she's ungagged for a drink, then re-gagged. There are one or two more scenes of her, sometimes very darkly lit, and when she's rescued there's another nice close-up of her gagged face. She mmmphs nicely in most scenes. Towards the end there's also a very brief scene as one of the female terrorists is led away hands secured behind back. |
