Description: At 1hr 16mins, the stars of the film--Clint Eastwood and George Kennedy--break into the home of a vault manager and his wife (Beth Howland in an uncredited role). While Eastwood deals with the couple offscreen, Kennedy pays a visit to their daughter (Oliver)'s bedroom, where he discovers her having "relations" with a young man. Initially bemused by this sight, he interrupts them in the middle of their "session", has them lie face-up on the bed (Oliver's bare breasts in clear view) and shoves a red ball in both of their mouths onscreen; however, they are not shown bound until later. We then cut back to Eastwood, who has tied the couple back-to-back with white rope, Howland having been gagged with a strip of white tape. She constantly looks around with a shocked, wide-eyed expression as her husband is forced to reveal some vault access codes to the villains.
Later, at 1hr 31mins, the hapless parents (both now gagged) hobble across the hallway (still tied together as before) and stumble into their daughter's room. Here they discover the young lovebirds in their embarrassing predicament: they are lying naked on the bed, tied front-to-front (Oliver face-down, boyfriend face-up) with lots of white rope, hands behind their backs, both also gagged with strips of white tape (is not clear if the billiard balls are still stuffed in their mouths) and mmpphhing helplessly. Both parents take turns gawping at them in shock, with all four captives mmpphhing away. This sequence only lasts 10secs, but is enjoyable.
Caveat: All footage of Oliver is missing from the TBS airing, save a quick ungagged head-and-shoulders shot.
