Record number: 15885 Title: Abduction (2011) Medium: Movie Actress: Maria Bello, Lily Collins Description: In the first half of the film, two men force their way past Bello and into her home. Once inside a huge struggle ensues, during which they grab her by the arms and try to chloroform her with a white cloth. They manage to hold it over her mouth for about 5secs, but she fights back and ends up kicking their asses. Much later, in the second half, Collins and her fugitive boyfriend take a train in an attempt to evade their pursuers. Collins goes to get food from the cafeteria, but does not realize one of the bad guys following her. He suddenly grabs and handgags her, dragging her into an empty compartment and forcing her down onto the floor. As she lies face-up and terrified, he straddles her and pulls out a gun, threatening to cut off one of her fingers if she does not tell him the whereabouts of her boyfriend on the train. She is next shown still lying on the floor, her wrists now stretched out AOH/arms above her head and bound with a black ziptie to a metal chair. She is also gagged with a piece of duct tape, through which she mmpphhs and grunts cutely. Since her legs are completely unbound, she thrashes around and kicks down a drinking glass from a nearby table; when it breaks, she manages to free herself offscreen. Bello's scene lasts just under 10secs, whilst Collins' scene lasts a total of 45secs interspersed over a few minutes. Both are well-lit, and include a good variety of close-ups and full-body views. Bello wears a turquoise shirt, black leggings and black shoes. Collins wears a blue/white checkered shirt (showing a lot of midriff), jeans and heavy boots. |
