| Hi Paco, I saw the thread on Discussion, as well as Raffish's referral. Hehe. If you were serious about doing a phpBB forum, I would in fact be willing to help you out. They are not exactly a cake-walk, but it's not rocket science either. You don't necessarily have to know HTML, but it helps sometimes. Also, you need a somewhat computer-literate mindset, as well as some Internet skills. If computers are way over your head, beyond just surfing or whatever, I recommend going with a free service instead. There are a lot of them now and some are even based in phpBB. The good thing being that if you use a free service, the board software is already installed, hosted and ready to go. You would only need configure the board to your liking. If you want to do your own phpBB board, you would need hosting and probably a domain name too, unless you have a friend who would afford you some hosting on their server. | I'd also be happy to provide you with every telenovela scene I have to give such a forum a kickstart appeal and to encourage further posting by new members. Since spanish scenes are 9 times out of 10 my favorites, I kept them all. |
