Not quite sure what you're saying here, actually, but if you can clarify, I'll help if I can. If having back all the tapes you sent me would help, I can definitely arrange for that. Now that I've capped/clipped them, they're just sitting in my closet at the moment, and there's presumably a better use for them. I'd also love to see what you've been up to with the DVD comps and would be happy to give them proverbial full treatment, with respect to clips for YouTube and such. |

| Forgive me for bringing this up again but what do I need in orer to convert files from youtube into a fomrat that I can watch. As it is now, any file that I download is listed as just "file" and I am made to search for an application that will play it. |

| Jay, thanks for clarifying on Discussion. I definitely understand your reservations about YouTube. I'm fully aware that relying on that site as a partial hosting solution may not be viable over the long term, and it's certainly no substitute for keeping the hi-res sources around. I just figured it was worth a shot for the time being.
BTW, if you'd ever like to put up any of my QuickTime clips, RealMedia clips, and/or caps of those scenes on your and Major John's site, I'd be happy to send them along. (Though I'm guessing you might conclude, as we did, that putting them all up at once starts to get a little too hard on the wallet.) |

You can either add a ".flv" file extension and view the file with something like FLV Viewer, or you can convert it to a different video format of your choice with something like CinemaForge or Riva FLV Encoder (for Windows) or iSquint (for Mac).
