| Wednesday October 31 01:48:20 2018 Wrong Turn Reboot |
| Apparently for some reason probably known only to Hollywood suits they are rebooting the Wrong Turn series from scratch, presumably starting with another take on the 2003 classic featuring the incomparable Eliza Dushku bed-bound scene. The 2003 film was far and away the best with each sequel getting worse in terms of plots and budgets. Of course the late great Stan Winston doing the inbreds' make-up added greatly to its impact. It was 80 mins of pure adrenaline topped off with Eliza in her prime inescapably wired to a bed with a wonderfully tight belt-cleave gag. Amazing emoting and gag-talk. One of my all-time fav horror films. IMHO no remake will top it but if they stick to the original's plot we will get another actress in a similar predicament hopefully. Stay tuned I guess... |

The making of Arizona clip I sped through, showed Dewitt with hands bound in front and placed in chair. He was trying to tape her legs as she struggled. Next one shoukd Olsen coming in. Have not watch it throughly to hear commentary either in this clip or the movie. It appears the making of is the same as in movie. Didnt see any deleted scene options. But still have not delved further into the disc release. |

| In light of last year's Xmas-future-cult-classic Better Watch Out is about time there was a Halloween-themed film with a great extended F/T scene. Michael Myers might be popular again but he never was interested in tying and gagging the damsels just hacking and slashing which is a major turn-off. Bout time somebody made a Halloween bondage-fest. Spose I'll just have to watch House Of The Devil again tonight....Happy Halloween Y'all :) |

From what I read, the crew left Dushku bound and gagged during breaks in the filming. She evidently wasn't too pleased about this. |

| The way her hands were wired to that bedframe daresay would've taken a while to release Eliza for breaks etc. Hopefully they took her gag out tho otherwise that's just mean lol. If the reboot goes ahead really hope they do a similar(or even better scene with multiple damsels). I'm sure Eliza's replacement will be suitably gorgeous |

Then Dewitt’s character is left alone and there’s some decent struggling before she tips the chair forward and knocks herself out. They never really show it, but both actresses have their ankles duct taped to the chair legs. |

| Marilyn Burns had a good scene in the original Texas Chainsaw but a much better scene in Eaten Alive a few years later - nice black tape otm. Best scene in a Texas Chainsaw film for mine was Leatherface - Texas Chainsaw 3(not to be confused with last year's Leatherface which had absolutely nothing). Kate Hodge with mouth stuffing followed by a big black tape wraparound cleave gag - very effective and rare for mainstream. Although pretty sure when Kate ungagged herself the packing had disappeared. Maybe she swallowed it lol. Great scene all up though :) |

| Leatherface was definitely a great scene. Kate's tape cleave looked aesthetically perfect, and unlike cloth cleaves there was no way she was spitting it out - very secure. Pretty sure the sweet-looking little girl in the crazy family was the one who put the stuffing in Kate's mouth and/or wrapped the tape around too which was a nice touch. Has been a while might have to rewatch it |
