Friday October 01 00:13:34 2010 Fringe Tonight |
Surprised no one mentioned this, but in the opening minutes of tonight's "Fringe" a family (mom, daughter, grandma, and putz) are held hostage by some crooks who are looking for something in their basement. Their hands are bound in front with tape, they have ropes wrapped around their arms, and they're gagged with duct tape which is on somewhat tight (no loosies). A couple of decent close-ups of the mom and daughter who are cute. |

Friday October 01 01:58:15 2010 Just found a blink and you missed it scene |
It's in a real life crime series called Watching the Detectives (not to be confused with the 2007 film with Lucy Lui). This show aired in 2008 on A&E and portrays real life detectives telling stories about their various cases. In the episode titled "Spiderman" an unknown redhead is taped hands behind the back and wrap around tape gagged with black duct tape during a home invasion. Unfortunately she quickly escapes and is shot by the intruder. There are only a few quick shots, one of her hands being taped, and a couple decent shots of her face after being gagged. The scene is very quick and is for completists only, but Wraparound tape enthusiests may like it. Perhaps someone who's registered can add it to the database. This show is currently reairing on CI - Crime Investigation Channel. |

I'm glad that our thoughts are so closely aligned! Yes, the movie would've been MUCH better had it featured FIVE good-looking women bound and gagged in swimsuits! In reply to your question, I purchased the movie throught the Sony Website, more specifically, Sony Television, the branch of the company that buys old television series and programs. In response to another question, the DVD includes no special features, only the movie. There is no menu that enables the viewer to select a scene or any cast interviews or deleted scenes. The DVD immediately begins playing the movie once it is inserted into a DVD player. |

The link to the Website was provided in a post from about 10 days ago, by my estimate. In order to locate the post containing this link, I suggest you check the posts from the last two weeks. You should be able to find the link this way. |

Well, partly cuz I think it's over. Dude posted the alert LATE Thursday nite, so it registered on here as Friday, giving the impression it's an alert for tonite. However, I believe the episode aired last nite, since Fringe is on Thursdays I think. So it was more of a posting about what happened on Thursday's episode that the rest of us missed. Am I correct here? |

There's an additional scene in Vampire Diaries which I didn't notice last night. At approx. the 30 minute mark, Nina is taken from a horse-drawn transport gagged and with her wrists tied in front of her. She is quickly freed. Very darkly lit, and very quick. Somebody with HD might be able to get some more details of how she was gagged. |

Episode is up on the Fox web site. Nice gags on the mom and daughter. Shown in opening minutes. Later, after the thugs open some secret box, everyone in the house is killed by something in the air (except one thug). Tied up females are later shown dead with blood dripping down their noses. |

Dude, I am absolutely stunned by this and placed my order today. This is remarkable that they have decided to give us did fans a dream come true moment. Many of us were just kids when this came out and tried not to make it seem like the tied up girls turned us on! :) I have to think that Sony has been getting tons of requests for this movie and/or we have a fan in high places there! Word just has not spread that fast yet. These are going to sell like hotcakes. |

Friday October 01 20:04:04 2010 New "Wonder Woman" TV Series |
Anybody else read about this? Apparently they're working on a new small-screen adaptation of "Wonder Woman." The article is rather vague as to the form it will take -- they may decide to go with a "Smallville"-esque re-imagining (given the dearth of scenes produced on that show, I certainly hope not). Still, if it does reach fruition, it may have possibilities -- a TV series certainly offers more plentiful opportunities for scenes than a film. I just hope they don't put her in that stupid new costume. |

I'm on the West Coast and was also trailing last night's episode by at least 15 minutes. Regardless, I only post to VCR alerts when I know of a scene days in advance. This is because Alerts only tells you a new post has been added, but it doesn't tell which day the Alert is for. I posted the scene in the Video page. |
