| Friday July 21 00:13:11 2017 DVR/VCR alert update |
| Just added a couple handy new features to my DVR alert script. Thanks to some nice work by the Engineer, I'm now able to link directly to the DB entry for each alerted scene. I've also added a new field to indicate whether the scene has a gag or not. This works by processing the DB description and ignoring phrases like "no gag", "handgag", and so on. If you discover any entries that are incorrect (and it's not due to DB entries that are incorrect or incomplete themselves), I'd appreciate a heads up, as it's quite likely that the phrase list could still use some tweaking. With over 100 U.S. alerts per day on average, I hope these changes will make it at least a bit easier to figure out which scenes are actually worth recording. Enjoy! |

| In chapter 94 (20th July) of GLOBO's currently airing novela 'O Rico E O Lazaro' ('bible-novelas' are THE hit in Brazil since a few years!) actress Milena Toscano (of 'Araguaia' fame!) has been kidnapped in the previous episode by some baddie and got hidden in a dark cave; now she got not only tied up but also cleave-gagged onscreen! |

| Hmmm....no comments on Wednesday's episode of Blood Drive. Did no one else see it, or was it not worth mentioning?? haha Anyway, Grace DOES end up tied & OTM gagged, around the 13-minute mark or so....she's rather thinly OTM gagged & led around by cuffed wrists by the Amazon-type female captors. Scene lasts 5 or so minutes with lots of shots, both mid-range & close-up. Finally they get her to the destination and ungag her. Grace remained cuffed a bit longer on a table till she frees herself. I'm not a huge fan of OTM gags & especially not the thinner type...you really have to suspend your disbelief that she couldn't just work it off even easier than a "regular" OTM, but still a gag on a hot chick with some good views so not TOO many complaints! |

As I remember it, the villain the episode is a guy that assaults beautiful and successful women. His first on screen victim is a tennis player who is attacked at a country club. Later Kim and her partner find the girl bound and tape gagged in hotel room. The DB says actress was Jennifer Shaw and she gets a short, full treatment scene that I think others conflate with Basinger The cops duo have a suspect, a playboy that hangs out at the same country club as some of the victims. Kim goes out of her way to antagonise him and make herself his next victim but at the end something goes wrong, either they suspected the wrong guy or the partner is called away. Anyway Kim gets chloroformed and kidnapped. I've heard stories that there was a scene with her tied on the back seat of a car or an extended scene at the villain's hideout but in the cut we got in Europe Kim's next scene begins with her saying "Ow" as the villain pulls off her tape gag. It was less than "blink and you'll miss it." This was essential to the plot since she has to talk to the kidnapper to give her partner time to find her. |

That must have made giving directions a real challenge... unless the cast and crew were fluent in gag-speak and bondage-mime. ;-) |

Not so much because of the scene itself - yes, it is Kim B., but it is a blink blink shot of her, and it is not very likely to ever be seen again anyway. Rather it is just nice to see longish entries on the site here. There used to be many more "real" (i.e. long) comments, but now it is much more likely to be quick "one liner" quickies. It surely is not Mr. Mod's fault, or anyone else's fault, just the way of everywhere online these days. To me personally, it could be frustrating, but I cut down on posting, since most times there are not many responses anyway. |

Gal was being pulled along like a mule on a road - not exactly DiD material in my book. I think it was a crummy, nothing scene that didn't go anywhere, and BTW, that looks like a really bad show too. Speaking of not being mentioned, nor was the scene in Tales that was on BET, it certainly got lots of pix shown here last week. IMO, that was tons better than Blood Drive. |

| Or more correctly, I was trying to reply to the person who mentioned Supah Ninja's. Frustratingly her legs were not tied and she was not gagged on that show even though she got tied up several times. |

| Killing Ground came out today in theaters and VOD. Saw it earlier, has a decent scene in it. 2 chicks wrap around gagged with duct tape, putz alert. Decent length. Not a bad movie either. |

But it enables her wrists to be more easily (and more comfortably, it looks like) attached to upper body ropes, which makes untying her feet, or removing a gag or blindfold, virtually impossible. A hogtie would be the next "logical" step. Put simply, she's stuck. And having her arms in small of her back is also more comfortable if she is lying on her back, where her body weight places less pressure on her hands (already under pressure from the ropes). Each of these cases is in comparison to if her hands were crossed behind her back, for example. These more advanced techniques do seem a bit rare in mainstream media. If they do come into play, it shows more insight than the average writer or director displays. I've noticed that German crime shows (i.e., the villains in them) seem have some of the the most pre-planned and methodical bondage scenes of any available -- but great scenes can come from anywhere, it seems. |
