If it's a long scene, it's likely to change and maybe get wider or turn to a cleave. |

Finally saw Brimstone is a powerful film no denying it and it does have several full treatment scenes but not many I can go into much detail about for reasons listed in certain FAQ's. Confronting film, disturbing and relentlessly bleak Western vision which smacks of the sad realities of the era and setting. I think some of the director's choices may be overly provocative especially concerning scenes that interest us. Make up your own minds it's available on download or dvd. Don't envy whomever attempts a database entry... |

Well well I see there is a database entry should've checked first ha. Very concise too. Film is still a confronting experience to say the least |

Yeah it's not an easy watch but you have to say that the film makers' certainly went all out on authenticity. That is an actual scold's bridle worn by Carice Van Houten(etc), complete with tongue-compressing bit. Totally effective gag. |

Conversely, it could be several short scenes spread out a la "Marathon Angeles" complete with continuity snarls between cleave and detective gags. Yes, it looks like a promo still to me too. |

Surely the bad ole days of terrible gag continuity a la Marathon Angels are behind us lol but we still see many such scenes and you gotta say it gives us different looks for the same girl - cleave....otm...cleave....half and half...so hopefully Christina will get a cleave(that is a very thin otm). As long as she doesn't become "fuel" for those damn cars. That earlier cheerleaders' scene was a big turn-off, gory, severed limbs...yuck |

I just watched this complete movie on the free You.T service, and it was greater than I recalled even. Attractive Mel Harris done up for a full 14 minutes - with interruptions - IMO one of the best commercial movie scenes ever. FWIW, be even better if the DiD was costar Marg Helgenberger! |

Classic lengthy scene indeed. Great, matter-of-fact tie up scene too. Mel was v.sexy and the tape gag was wide and sticky. Even better all the putz action was separate so great for editing. Time for a Lifetime remake :) |

Mel was v.sexy and the tape gag was wide and sticky. ~~~~ One of the things that had always struck me as unique about Mel Harris' tie up scene was that the villains tied her ankles first, then taped her mouth, and lastly tied her wrists -- Pretty much the reverse order in which one would expect a captive to be b&g. Off the top of my head, I can't think of another B&g scene where the damsel's ankles were tied first -- That makes little sense 99% of the time. |

Forgot that her wrists were tied last but haven't seen it for years. I think Mel was partially knocked out and semi-conscious while being tied so her captor took his time. Strongly recall him saying he was a rope expert from way back or something similar and that she'd never get loose. Awesome scene though one of the best of the Nineties |

I've actually seen a number of scenes like this, though mostly commercial stuff. If you think about it, it sort of makes sense if the damsel's unconscious when the captor is starting to tie her: if she wakes up with just her wrists bound, she might be able to run away, while with just her feet tied, he can probably overpower her again while she's trying to get them free. |

Definitely a great scene but the strange thing was the husband was gagged with white tape while Mel was gagged with silver tape. |
