100 mil is cheap, but CGIing a scene like this wouldn't add too much to the cost. Realism is the key here. If they feel it's more realistic, and continuity isn't an issue, then CGI is usually just used for the touch ups.

Improvised gags
Are there any scenes where the Captor decides to gag the damsel but doesn't immediately know what to gag her with so they end up just "randomly" grabbing what ever they get their hands on first?

Rabbit Hole next week
First two episodes drop next Sunday morning, then one weekly for 6 weeks after that. Hoping Meta's Golding's scene pops early. She also gets a zip-tied trunk scene, which is more likely to be in the opening 2 episodes.

Recent promo shot did add 1 more second to her gag scene from the promo.

"The Collector" (1965) Bathtub scene:

In the next sequence, she is moved from her room in an out-building to the mansion to take a shower. Ferdy binds her wrists behind her back, but when he takes out a black cloth, she tells him a gag won't be necessary.

Later in the film she is taking a bath when a neighbor rings the doorbell to the collector's house. He rushes in and gags her with a towel stuffed in her mouth (more like wedged between her teeth) and held in place by a black cloth cleave, and ties her hands to a pipe.

From legendary 1950s cheese ball director Ed Wood: "The Violent Years" four teel girls are a crime spree and accost a couple in Liver's Lane. They want to "have their way" with the ma;e half, but need to keep the female half out of the way, so they cut her skirt into shreds and use it to bind an
gag her.
