Reports are that she had recently received a liver

The Au Pair
This recent British mini-series has a great scene in the last two episodes.

The titular au pair gets nabbed offsceeen near the end of episode 3, and is briefly seen bound and cleave gagged in the trunk of the villain's car in the final scene.

At the start of episode 4, she's been moved inside a house and handcuffed to a radiator pipe, still cleave gagged. She spends roughly the first half of the episode in this predicament and show cuts back to her several times as she does some great struggling and emoting before working herself free.

She also gets a brief handgag at the end of the episode as well.

Sounds good. But has it been released? Can't find anything anywhere

Day of the Jackal
Text from the book (just finished it - it's well worth your time):

"Five minutes later Madame Berthe was trussed up hand and foot with the clothes line from beneath the sink, and her mouth was covered with a large square of sticking plaster."

Unfortunately I don't think the scene is repeated in the 1973 film or the recent series. Happy to be corrected.

I'd really like to see this one. Says it doesn't air in the UK till March so where did you see it?

I found a copy, there is a scene, and I will check more closely later and work out who she is. It looks well worth making an edit.

Don't imagine UK dramas premier in the UK. That's rarely the case other than BBC. I don't know who got this one first, but I'm guessing some Scandinavian countries going by the languages of the subtitles embedded in my MKV files. Just a guess...

Ludmilla Makowski
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm12216990/?ref_=tt_cst_t_3

(Still no idea which countries were prioritised this time. It would be interesting to know if the OP happens to have that info.

Midsome Murders S24 enjoyed its world premier in Croatia almost 18 months ago and it's still not been shown in the UK...)

As suspected, here's the show streaming in Sweden before its countries of origin. It's very, very common.

I'll stop moaning about licencing and stuff, and I'll try and get an edit done today. Thanks, Wolfe, for bringing it to my attention. Still vaguely intersted where you found it.

For those who are curious, I happened to have access to some screeners and I'll just leave it at that.

Anti-Alert: "The Truth is Murky" (2025)
A new Chinese horror movie called "The Truth is Murky" came out. Its poster features a damsel bound, tape-gagged and blindfolded. Unfortunately, I skimmed through the movie and didn't find anything of interest (also, there's a putz scene).

It's yet another one of those posters that feature a "symbolic" damsel. In fact, this poster seems to be AI-generated. Interestingly enough, if you check out the link below, you'll notice that they made two versions of the image, each with a different outfit AND a different chairtie for the damsel (in the second image, her hands are bound to the armrests). Talk about the truth being murky...

Yes, you should probably leave it at that...

I probably shouldn't say where I got my copy either, but the edit is done, and I thank you very much for the information. I esepcially like to edit UK scenes.

Based on IMDb, the titular Au Pair/Damsel is French actress Ludmilla Makowski. But like others have said, this doesn't air until 2 weeks on Channel 5. Is it airing somewhere else already?

I can take a scene with no gag, but no gag and no visible bonds makes this a stinker already

A good book, but that's no Good Girl's Guide to Murder

Yes, Sweden, link above :)
I made an edit, but it was blocked. I expect it will be there soon, or you can see it on the Mainstream DID Discord.

Invincible S03E06 short scene
Short scene of a woman tied to a pillar and tapegagged (her baby is also tapegagged beside her). Very short scene begins at around the 40 minute mark including ads

Agreed. Anyone else get like a warm excited feeling when it's someone you've been waiting to see? I had that. But then I clicked on it. Hopefully there's more to it in the actual movie.

Natacha (2025) Potential Scene
So I was checking over on the French mainstream scene forum to see if there was any chatter about the upcoming Plus Belle La Vie scene that Paolo shared earlier on here and I came across a discussion about the upcoming French film, Natacha. From what I gathered, the film is based on the French comic of the same name about a jet-setting flight attendant who seems to constantly find herself in trouble on her adventures. In the comic, Natacha ends up bound and gagged quite often. In the upcoming film the titular Natacha is played by Camille Lou (whom I'm sure many on here remember her scene from Les Combattantes from the other year).

Now with all this information, you'd probably just rightfully assume that all we have is speculation as to whether or not this movie would deliver anything for Camille like the comics do. However, on the aforementioned French forum, a user claims that a trailer for the movie is currently airing in French cinemas and that in the trailer, both Camille and Elsa Zylberstein are seen bound and gagged. As of now there's no details, screencaps, and the trailer doesn't appear to be available anywhere online yet, but this will certainly be one to keep an eye out for. The movie is set to release on April 2nd but hopefully the trailer is shared online before then.
