Creepers TV Series
An Italian company is making a series based on Jennifer Connelly's 1985 giallo Creepers aka Phenomena. Jennifer got the blinkiest-of-blinkies otm gag scene in the original. As the film is based around a serial killer targeting students at an all-girls school there is lots of potential for a series to expand upon. So there may be longer/more f/t scenes. Definitely something to keep an eye on as it develops.

The Magicians books
Do the books match the series in terms of bondage content?
Sunday February 23 07:25:19 2025
Re: Dangerous Animals
Looks like there'll be no bondage in this film(according to the Screen Australia website's synopsis). Apparently Hassie's character wakes up locked in a section of her abductor's boat while she waits to be fed to sharks out at sea. Naturally she plots her escape.

I just took a look at the actual episode and the DB entry is correct - she is not gagged in this episode.

It's been a few years since I read the books, but I don't recall there being any bondage scenes.

Although I always find it comical, thanks for not saying they tied and gagged her to a chair. :)

old soap scene
Looking for an old soap scene, possibly from the late 90s. It consists of two women tied back to back in a basement and they are gagged as such that if one of them moves too much the fabric around their throats would tighten. They struggle back and forth a few times and I remember their captor checking in on them and temporarily un-gagging them before placing them in the predicament again. Can't recall how it ends.

Dammit, I know that one! Tight white cleaves, lots of gag-talk, one of them is a blonde. It's one of the big U.S. soaps like DOOL, GH, AMC, GL, OLTL.

Record number: 3237

Title: General Hospital
Medium: Soap Opera
Actress: Kristina Wagner aka Kristina Malandro Wagner, Lynn Herring

Description: (1995 scene) Felicia (Kristina) and Lucy (Herring) are searching for Felicia's kidnapped baby in a darkened hall of mirrors. The bad guy captures Lucy and binds and cleave-gags her.

Felicia stumbles upon her and unties her, but soon thereafter, the bad guy recaptures them. They are tied back to back with white cleave-gags. Felicia is cleave gagged on screen. There are some good close-ups of her tight gag, and also good mmpphhing. Don't stay that may for long as Mac soon finds them.

I think it was General Hospital...? I just remember loving the gagging when the captor was demanding, "Open your mouth! Open it!" The music person played a stereotypical chiller sound when she finally did.

Emergency! Medical Bondage Scene

I have this -very dim- memory of a scene that I saw on the show Emergency! back when I was a real little kid. Young enough that at the time it was really scary and left an impression on me.

A woman is recovering in the hospital after some procedure. She's either strapped to her bed or possibly just "restrained" by various tubes and IVs. She has something over her mouth that either muffled or silenced her, I can't recall if it was an oxygen mask or a tube taped in her mouth. She's left alone in her room, listening to the radio, and a bottle of cleaning fluid left behind by the janitor falls over on the radio, causing a fire, she can't yell for help, and she has to struggle to get free as the fire spreads.

This ring any bells with anyone? Anyone know the episode title? Thanks very much in advance for any info.

Trapped in her dorm room
New lifetime movie premiering next month starring Ciara Hanna, who played (imo) one of the cutest power rangers ever about a decade back. Synopsis reads: "When a classmate's adoration turns into a dangerous obsession, college student Erin (played by Hanna) finds herself held captive in her own dorm room during Spring Break.". No trailer or anything yet, but obviously a very promising premise starring a very cute (potential) damsel, who I've personally waited a long time to see get the full treatment. Scheduled to premiere March 21st.

About what I figured. I'll deal with the "contributor".

The Monkey
As expected, there's basically nothing in The Monkey. However, there was one cute surprise that some folks might get a kick out of.

Basically, Tatiana Maslany's character is (badly) comforting her sons after a funeral, saying that everybody dies. But she delivers the line (paraphrasing somewhat, but you get the idea) "some of us die peacefully in our sleep while some of us die tied up in clothesline with duct tape over our mouths."

No actual bondage in the movie, but a few of you may get a kick out of that dialogue. Fun, offbeat dark comedy though.

No wonder I couldn't find it via dB. No mention of the choking aspect.

I saw this one too and I agree, I think it has a ton of potential for such a cute damsel. After a slowish start to the year for lifetime, it looks like things are picking up in March as they return to a cadence of at least 3 new movies a week.

Along with "Trapped in her Dormroom", it looks like we have at least 3 other movies in March with kidnapping plots. The first one is next Saturday with "Killing the Competition" where, based on the synopsis and trailer, it seems like the movie is about an angry mother who kidnaps the star of her daughter's dance team (played by Valerie Loo) after her daughter is kicked off the team. Nothing of note in the brief trailer that is out, but will definitely be worth the watch.

The next one is next Sunday with "Abducted in the Everglades" - When her college-aged daughter goes missing while on Spring Break down in Miami, her mother Beverly (Tori Spelling) flies out to find her, acquiring the assistance of rugged boatman Ray as they search the vast Everglades. The daughter is played by the gorgeous Tommi Rose. No trailer yet for this one but Tommi has some behind the scenes photos on her instagram that show her tied to a chair. Hopefully we don't miss out on a full treatment on this one due to the remote location of the story though.

The final March film with an initial kidnapping plot is "Taken at a Basketball Game" - Desperate to bond with his estranged 18-year-old daughter Robyn (Claire Qute), Wayne Edwards (D.B. Woodside) gets them tickets to a basketball game where he envisions the two of them cheering on their favorite team while they reconnect. However, when Robyn goes to the restroom and doesn't return, Wayne's worst fear is confirmed when he realizes she's been kidnapped. On a mission to find her in a stadium filled with thousands of people, he races against the clock and will stop at nothing to find her before it is too late. no trailer or behind the scenes photos yet but this one airs on Saturday March 15th.

Lifetime: Murder at the Lighthouse
Brief scene for Skye Coyne in the last 10 to 15 minutes of this new Lifetime flick. Skye wakes up cleave gagged with a white cloth, hands tied behind back with large rope. A few brief shots of her biting down and emoting as she struggles and works her way free.

Man sounds like all four of these are extremely high potential based on the plot descriptions. I'd be surprised if at least one of them doesn't pan out.

Personally I'm hoping for the girl in the Everglades one... she looks like a total smoke show, and at a bare minimum gets tied. The only issue I could see is the one you mentioned (not much need to gag her if she's being held in a really remote location).
