Sunday February 18 05:15:58 2024 Drive Away Dolls |
Went to an advanced screening of Drive Away Dolls last night. I am here to give you all the details of the scene that I can but, as always, I have to be vague to not break the embargo. Please don’t ask me any questions or for specifics, I am not able to say and your reply will be ignored. Here’s what I can say: the scene is fantastic, in my opinion! Lengthy (probably roughly 5 min, including cutaways to other characters, etc.) tons of close ups and great facial expressions and, of course, two gorgeous damsels. The cleave gags are tight and their lips pouty around those bandanas. As a gag snob, a nice onscreen gagging or taking it out and regagging would have been very welcomed, but I’ll take what I can get. Only small complaint, could have used some more mmmphing. There is definitely a little bit here and there throughout the scene, but would have been better with more gag talk, which seems like it could have easily been added given the characters dynamic, personalities and the situation they were in. Anyways, regardless, scene of the year material for me, and it’s only February. How lucky are we to get a scene like this in 2024. |

How about the restraints? Any good shots of those? I'm not a gag snob myself, I prefer to see good restraints Thank you for reporting! |

Many thanks ShutHerUp, You Da Man as per usual! Was hoping this film would deliver a lengthy scene and sounds like it absolutely does! Lovely damsels and I'm sure the film is excellent besides with the usual Coen quirky coolness, albeit from only one brother this time. Such a rare treat to see a good to great scene on a big cinema screen these days. Saw Poor Things at the cinema today and Emma Stone is marvellous; if only her ballgag scene had've lasted a minute or two rather than 5 seconds...so 5 minutes of two damsels is to be celebrated! Thankyou for the heads-up you always provide. And please let us know of any up-coming film scenes you hear about for the remainder of 2024. Cheers! |
Sunday February 18 07:48:24 2024 Night Explorers: The Asylum - Hannah Al Rashid |
This lovely Indonesian actress is found chair tied and OTM gagged in a candlelit room. Her rescuer tries to untie her, but when the captor returns, a fight ensues and Ms. Rashid is restrained a little longer until the hero wins the fight and frees her. A bit dark, but Ms. Rashid does some great muffled yelling. Scene occurs 1hr 20min. |

Only answering because I meant to include this in my original post and forgot. Only about one or two good shots of the binds, which is their hands tied behind their backs with rope while sitting on the chairs. Not the best for restraint fans, more of a scene for gag fans like me. |

Two things of note. To be fair, if someone did an edit (which they should when it comes out) the scene of them gagged would probably only be about 1-2 min. The 5 minutes is the total scene length. Secondly, unfortunately, the movie itself was only meh, in my opinion. |

Sunday February 18 08:41:45 2024 What's a gag snob? |
I see that quite often but I don't know what it means hahah. What is gag snob means? People who prefer damsls when they are ungagged or what? |
Sunday February 18 08:44:04 2024 Re: Drive Away Dolls |
Well if the film itself is average at least it has a DiD scene to make it worth watching. Speaking of Poor Things see Margaret Qualley was in that too. She's also in Lanthimos' next film - Kinds Of Kindness - along with Emma Stone. Have a feeling there'll be more full treatment in that. Hopefully longer than the Poor Things scene. Watch for a trailer. |

There are also anti-gag snobs, who prefer a talkative damsel with no gag. We are perhaps the most oppressed minority, brought to tears every time we read the phrase "I only included the gag parts" on the Video Page. Truly, we are the lowest caste of the Brian's Page community. Where's our advocacy group? When will we get a Pride Parade? |

I'm a restraints snob. I like to see onscreen tying, closeups of tied hands and feet, convincing bondage, trying to escape. I hate ziptie scenes, I find them lazy, and implied restraint with not showing how they're tied at all even lazier. Gags I can take or leave |
Sunday February 18 15:04:44 2024 Detective League episode 1 |
This Chinese drama 神探联盟 has a scene at the end of the first episode, where a uniformed waitress is bound and gagged by a villainess. Nice brief little moment. |

A gag snob doesn't consider a bondage scene complete unless the damsel is gagged as well as bound. I am a gag snob. |

The question has been answered, and it's not a particularly productive discussion topic. Move along. |

I’ve been waiting for her to get another one ever since I saw her one and only scene in Indonesian series titled Awas Ada Sule eps. 1, maybe more than 10 years apart already! |
