She got pranked, as did at least two other advice columnist types including, funny enough, Marilyn vos Savant, who is supposed to have the highest IQ on record. Guess having a high IQ doesn't mean you're a great researcher.

A few different versions, all supposedly from the Philly area, have appeared in columns throughout the years. Funny how the "daughter" never got over the holdup that took place in the business/home/whatever.

She was grabbed in the "Fall Finale" and they're resuming now. Pretty sure that she's in a box with no bonds but it doesn't hurt to record and check.

A Quiet Place Part II
Nice handgag for Emily Blunt in the trailer hopefully there's more this time around. The premise of these films is basically begging for a gag somewhere along the way, particularly if Emily stumbles into the wrong crowd who still need to keep her quiet with the aliens about. And Emily is as hot as ever and still needs a great f/t scene badly. Cautiously optimistic

Re: Scene Search
That is the scene. Unfortunately, it looks like the video was taken, but thank you for helping me remember what it was called.

Women back to back
Any scenes were two women are bound and gagged sitting back to back?

Looking for unusual scene

Hello

looking for an unusual scene, can't seem to find it in the database

an older film has a scene set in a medieval type dungeon, where a woman is chained to the wall, but a bloke walks in on her, but rather than release her, he starts singing to her on how beautiful she is
she is then saying “stop, please I beg of you”, sorry only the information I remember, but if anybody has any further information it would be most appreciated

I think I have an edit of specifically these type of scenes, so I'll try to post it later.

Makes sense. Even as a 15 year old kid I knew this conformed too closely to some fantasy to possibly be real. Still, I didn't have the internet at that point so I was happy to come across it.

What? She doesn't have an advice column. She post puzzles
and brain-teasers.

Two such scenes come to mind. There is one from the Seventies series S.W.A.T. and one from the late-night crime drama Scene of the Crime that feature two actresses bound and gagged while sitting back-to-back. In the latter scene, the two actresses are both incredibly beautiful with shapely physiques and are wearing form-fitting dresses.

I recall reading about this column around twenty years ago. I think the letter was revealed to be a fake, some adolescent girl's transcribed fantasy.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the "Dear Abby" team knew it was a fake letter. It doesn't matter if it is or isn't. The Dear Abby column was meant to be entertainment and it was an entertaining letter. I once wrote a hard to believe fake letter to Dear Abby and it got printed. Even though I had to include my phone number when submitting, no one ever contacted me to verify anything.

Pretty sure Teri Hatcher had two such scenes in Lois & Clark.

Yeah, this is probably spot on. They didn’t fool anybody. Plus, a story like that would be easily verifiable by checking with local news stations or police departments. No way “business owner and daughter left bound and gagged by a burglar” would escape the evening news broadcast, lol.

I saw the enough of this post, and know we're veering off topic, but if the Mod allows this: Ask Marilyn, a Parade magazine feature of years back.
