But apparently there were no scenes, at least none that made it into the DB. |

The series with Beverly Garland was "Decoy," from 1958. First female action lead in a U.S. series. |

Yes, DECOY was shown just a few years ago as a summer replacement series on TV. Think it was on TCM. I kept watching it because I liked Ms. Garland as a kid, ever since she was in some lame horror movie, The Alligator People. While I'm not sure I saw every episode of Decoy, what I saw had nothing close to any scene! |

The Man Without A Face. One of my favorite scenes ever. The first time I discovered it, I was watching a re-run of it on A&E. The dude breaks in, handgags her but then lets her sit down on the couch while she calls her husband. I channel-surfed away from it thinking it was nothing. Then channel-surfed back to find her completely bound and gagged, struggling, gag talking, with the chair tipped over the phone right as Mildred bursts in. Was years before I saw the whole thing... |

It was a soap opera around 1995 or so. Maybe DOOL, not sure. Damsel is in a sparkly evening gown type-dress. She's been kidnapped. Her captors come at her with a gag. She pleads with them not to gag her or tie her up. They agree. Then she stomps on one of their feet and runs away. I turned it off, thinking, "Dumbasses." Only to turn it back on to find her re-captured, tied up with the gag in her mouth and mmmppphing like crazy. Does this ring any bells for anyone? |

The first time I > discovered it, I was watching a re-run of it on A&E LOL, same here. Was watching that on A&E, and I knew SSJ had one FT scene on that show, the one where she was gagged and blindfolded on the boat, but we got no shots of her just gagged. I thought I had recorded all the episodes, so wasn't expecting anything to pop. But when the scene started, I was thinking, what a blown chance for a gag, then out of the blue the guy gags her on screen and SSJ starts gag talking, saying "I wouldn't want to put you to any extra trouble" as the guy says "I don't want to hurt you." Then we get the great chair-tie scene with the 911 call. |

We could form a club. I never knew about this scene until watching on A&E. I threw a VHS tape in when the guy barged in. I was on the phone with a friend, watching for a scene, and then he makes her make the phone call. I had the remote in hand and was thinking that chance went away. But then after she hangs up, I see Logan Field, the guy playing the good guy captor, get up in the background. I hit REC, just hoping and was rewarded. A nice surprise, and the scene remains a favorite. |
