I believe the girl who played the daughter and was tied hands over head and black bandana gagged is savannah Joan Osborne. Not sure if that is her name as the end credits were blurry due to the split screen. Anyone got the exact name? |

Any other such scene of a celebrity actress being B&G in a play, like Annette Bening in Female of the Species? |

Well now that it go BIN'd, it's nice to know someone else has got the bragging rights to the rarest Nancy Drew book (50 copies produced.) I was thinking about buying it to have another one. |

Monday January 30 15:06:08 2017 Our favorite movie scenes from every decade |
Like many of you, I've grown old with this site, and the movie scenes we've been sharing our appreciation for now span multiple generations. Without accounting for personal tastes, I'd like to share my own favorite movie scenes from every decade since the 1930s, and I'd be interested in seeing everyone else's favorites. (The database was a big help. Remember that you can type years into the Title search.) 1930s: I Cover the Waterfront 1940s: This Gun for Hire 1950s: Cat and Mouse 1960s: The Collector 1970s: Eagle's Wing 1980s: Deadly Lessons 1990s: Desperate Motive 2000s: Twisted Sisters 2010s: The Homesman |

This upcoming movie probably has next to no chance of producing anything for it's female lead (Sara Canning). Sara plays a reporter visiting a small town in the Midwest to research an alleged UFO sighting which has been faked and ends up falling for a local involved in the prank. It's a big long shot but who's to say she does't get in deep and could find herself in some trouble when she learns the truth and is about to reveal it to the press only to wind up in trouble with the pranksters. It wouldn't be the first time a movie like this produced a surprise scene. I'm not holding my breath but it's certainly worth keeping an eye on in case of anything. |
