Forgotten Damsel detective classic
If you like to read about a lady detective in trouble like I do I just discovered this forgotten treasure today: it is a public domain audio book the Kidnapping of Madam Storey

http://manybooks.net/titles/footnerhother10footner-kidnapping-00-t.html

it is part of a series about the lady detective and her redheaded secretary who narrates the tales. This collection has 4 stories with the duo captured 5 times. It goes like this

Story 1: Bagged with either sheets or blankets and roped from their mouths(the rope forcing the cloth itno the redhead's mouth is mention) to their ankles.

2: Bound hand and foot and tape gagged.

3: The title story just when you are sure they will avoid bondage they get handcuffed at wrists and ankles

4 Bound, gagged, blindfolded and some Chinese prisoner thing I am not familiar with put on their heads. The longest and best scene

The only drawback for me was having the sidekick narrate when I would have preferred the tall elegant dark haired damsel to do so.

Written and set in the 1930's

The big bang
Fat chance, but has anybody been keeping up with it lately? Has there even been a measly handgag for Cuoco?

I get it. It's a sitcom and we shouldn't expect much. But after ten seasons, youd think at least a handgag had to be close to happening. And honestly I rather have a handgag than a really lame handcuff/arrest scene (which, unfortunately, are the only two realistic scenarios that's would ever happen on this show) anyways. At the least the former has some potential for "mmmphhing". That's just me though. /rant. Lol
