| Didn't really expect anything in the 2nd remake of the original Dracula rip-off. Beautifully shot as are all of Eggers' films along with meticulously-created period detail. Orlok's appearance is quite different to previous versions so makes this film stand-out. Lily-Rose Depp has an austere beauty throughout this film. She is briefly chloroformed(or rather ethered)at one point to counter her night-time "hysteria". And later is briefly seen with her wrists bound separately to her bedframe. No gags. She does have fantastic nipples though I'll say that. Whole film has an unsettlingly eerie vibe so worth a watch. The Transylvanian-set scenes are particularly memorable. Interesting to see what the director films next. Given his attention to detail I'd love to see him remake John Fowles' "The Collector"...maybe somebody should mail him the novel ;) |

| Best Empowered volume bondage-wise is Volume Two. Amazingly sexy bondage imagery throughout. Emp is captured in a hot librarian outfit; bound with bandages by disgruntled hospital workers. And in probably the best bondage scene in the entire book series Emp is captured by a bondage-obsessed cat-costumed girl. She is stripped naked and placed in a car trunk. Profoundly sexy imagery and Emp sports huge knotted cleave gags that emphasise her pouty lips. Reminds me I need to acquire the recently released Volume 12. Anyone read it yet to confirm if there's decent bondage? Volume 11 has virtually none... |
