[26605] Incision (2020)
There is already an entry for this movie in the DB (26226), so this one should be deleted.

Whiz Kids
This one needs a more detailed entry.

Record number: 421

Title: Whiz Kids
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Andrea Elson

Description: Episode: "May I Take Your Order Please?" (1.18)

Alice (Elson) rides her bicycle to a building to do some snooping about 30 minutes into the episode. While wandering around the property, she notices a car that looks familiar and starts to look into it when she's caught by one of the bad guys. He then drags her away as the scene fades.

In the next scene, the camera starts at Alice's feet, which are tied with rope, and pans up. Alice is sitting in a chair in a basement with her hands tied behind her back. We hear tape being ripped and the bad guy who abducted her gags her with a strip of white translucent tape. He then checks her tied hands and heads up the stairs. Alice starts to struggle in the chair. The lighting is mostly dark in the scene but Alice is shown somewhat clear in most cuts. She wears a white running suit with a white jacket over a pink shirt and open shoes.

In the next scene, the bad guy returns to check on Alice. He makes sure she's tied tight, checking her feet, then going behind her to check her hands. He then reaches in front of her face to smooth and secure her tape-gag. He then leaves and we get the best straight-on shot of Alice tape-gagged with decent lighting.

In the next scene, Alice is shown struggling in several cuts in the chair while only a computer expert (noted character actor Larry Gelman) the thugs have hired is alone upstairs. Eventually, Alice tips the chair over, making a noise that the computer expert hears and heads down to the basement to check out what's going on. Since he's not in on the plot, he's surprised to see Alice on the floor. He ungags her and she warns him about the plot.

The two then head outside to escape but are chased by the guy who kidnapped Alice. After he says "let's split up" the computer expert is hit by a car in front of the house by a limo driver. Alice starts to make her way to help when she's hand-gagged by the bad guy and dragged away again.

In the next scene, the bad guy is joined by another guy and they argue about what to do. Alice is now in the basement again, tied to the chair and tape-gagged. But she's only shown from a side angle in one cut.

In the next scene, the thugs call Alice's school partner and computer expert. Alice is now in the room unbound and free as they convince him to come to the house to complete the computer job in order for them to free Alice. He eventually shows up and after some banter, the two eventually trap the bad guys behind a security gate and they are arrested.

This one came out of Moderation. I would have dropped it
in, but I wasn't sure if it was too verbose. I'll let
you guys check it too. Note the subject change to avoid
Moderation.
