Title: Edgar Wallace Mysteries: Solo For Sparrow (1962) Medium: Movie Actress: Nancy O'Neil Description: Ms. O'Neil plays an attractive middle-aged jewelry shop assistant snatched off the street by robbers intent upon stealing her keys. She is first seen being handgagged as she is dragged into a car. Later she is seen lying on her side on the car's back seat. Her hands are bound behind her back. She is blindfolded with a white cloth folded triangle wise which obscures most of her face. When her captors go to release her they believe she fainted and remove her bonds and blindfold revealing a white OTM gag. She has died from either from choking or a heart attack brought on by shock. Scenes are brief but well lit. The obscuring of her face by the blindfold is very frustrating. | Description: Ms. O'Neil plays an attractive middle-aged jewelry shop assistant snatched off the street by robbers intent upon stealing her keys. She is first seen being handgagged as she is dragged into a car. Later she is seen lying on her side on the car's back seat. Her hands are bound behind her back and her legs are tied together below the knew. She is blindfolded with a white cloth folded triangle wise which obscures most of her face. Believing she has fainted, her captors take her out of the car and place her by a tree where they remove her bonds and blindfold revealing a white OTM gag. They do not know that she has died from a heart attack brought on by shock. Due to the age of the actress, these scenes may have been done using a stunt double whose face was intentionally hidden. Scenes are brief but well lit. The obscuring of her face by the blindfold is very frustrating. |
