| Near the end, she doesn't get cut. Alistair (the killer) just draw some guidelines on her chest as he pretend to vivisect her. When he is about to start cutting her flesh, the lead characters interrupt. Alistair takes the girl as a hostage, but the male lead manage to take him down briefly. The female lead looses the strapes on the victim enough to allow her to free herself. At the end, after Alistair has been defeated, we see the girl ungagging herself. The scene is so dark that the confusion is comprehensible, and the editing isn't helping, as Alistair swap the marker for the scalpel off-camera. If that wasn't enough, the scalpel and the marker looks pretty similar in bad quality releases. Also i recommend to add the ending_rescue tag. |
