| Hi guys. I'm trying to remember if angela bassett had a scene on 911 where she was held hostage and duct taped to a chair in a police uniform. I have not been able to find this anywhere. Does anyone know the episode, or am I remembering something wrong? |

Record number: 23354 Title: Father Brown Medium: TV Series Actress: Emer Kenny Description: Episode: "The Jackdaw's Revenge" (6.02) Father Brown's plucky companion Bunty (Kenny) is quickly handgagged and dragged off at 23mins. She is next shown at 32-33mins, sitting at the bottom of a staircase in an old house; her hands are tied in front to a post with rope, feet unbound, and a burlap sack over her head. Turns out her captor is a rogue nun, Katherine (Kate O'Flynn), who has it in for Brown. When she takes off the hood, we see that Bunty is tightly cleave gagged with a white cloth (tied high-up style at the back of her head). Some nice frightened mmmpphhing before Katherine injects her with a sedative. In the last 5mins, Brown and his other companions enter a room to discover what appears to be Bunty, hooded again, sitting on a chair facing away from them. One of the sleuths spots someone else in a dark corner of the room, sitting on another chair and holding a gun. Thinking it is Katherine (who can be heard counting down from ten), she attempts to shoot her, but Brown abruptly uses his cane to divert her fire to the person on the chair. His quick-witted thinking has saved Bunty, who was actually in the corner instead, forced to hold the gun in her hand. Katherine had created an elaborate ruse in which she had swapped outfits with Bunty, making it look as though she was the one in danger. All along, Bunty was in the corner dressed in the nun's outfit, hands tied to the armrests with white rope, and cleave gagged as before. Brown's cohorts free her onscreen, while Katherine slumps over and dies. |

I can't remember if she was duct taped or put in her own cuffs but she's in a chair and definitely in her police uniform. Could probably qualify as an "embarrassing capture" from the discussion page.
